Joined Newyorklife Insurance as a level 2 engineer for Windows and VMware operations. I was providing
support for Servers and Vcenter-level troubleshooting on a proactive basis.

on various Server level troubleshooting on a proactive basis.

Roles and responsibilities


• Working as Windows VMware Administrator and providing L2 support.
• Installing, Configuring, New build tasks and Decommissioning requests and Administering
Microsoft Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 servers.
• Provisioning new VM with windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 servers for new projects and
maintaining template up to date for quick deployment.
• Remote login to Virtual Machines to troubleshoot, monitor and deploy applications.
• Modify Hard disk, CPU expansion, and Memory Expansion as per OS and application
requirements.
• Responsible for adding disk space to the virtual machines.
• Performing OS upgrades.
• Handling Server issues, performance issues (CPU, Memory, Page file) disk space issues, Ping
Alerts, Services alerts, User Reboot, and Unexpected Reboot.
• Troubleshooting VSS writers.
• FTP and SFTP connections, Addition/Deletions of permissions to the folders based on the RITM.
• Experience in working with Physical servers/SNMP traps via ILO and raising cases with vendors.
• Robocopy of folders/files.
• LSI drivers update.
• Install and Upgrade VMware tools.
• Restoration of VM from snapshot or backup.
• Screen resolution, Password recovery issue.
• Vulnerability remediation.
• Patching windows servers through SCCM for 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• ESXi host upgrades.
• ESXi Builds.
• Performing Snapshots creation/deletion of virtual servers.
• VM Migration (VMotion/Storage VMotion) based on the Priority/Requirement and also have
experience in moving large VMs with multiple drives.
• Moving VMs from one cluster to another cluster.
• Handling VMware-related issues like High CPU, Memory Usage of hosts, Datastore usage, and
clearing Dead paths alerts.
• Working on ESXi host down/not responding to alerts.
• HP Enclosure information of blades and Bays
• Addition or expansion of datastore to the cluster and attach or detach of the lun based on the
request
• Maintaining documentation of servers in CMDB.
• Checking load, drives, health, services, and security of servers. Working on Critical, High,
Medium/Normal, and Low Incidents.
• Day-to-day operations on Incident and Task handling without any SLA breach.
• Performing Changes/Requests as per the requirements.
• Provide 24/7 hour on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Joining the T-Cab meetings for getting the approvals for change requests.
• Looking after customer escalation and reaching up to customer satisfaction.

Educational Qualification :
 B Tech in computer science engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad
with an aggregate of 64 % in 2014.
 Class 12th from Board of Intermediate, AP with an aggregate of 61% in 2010.
 Class 10th from Board of Secondary Education, AP with an aggregate of 61% in 2008.
