Roofing Estimate Template
1. This tab is set up to enter your general project data. You can enter contact information for the client, as well as your quote #, etc. per quote.
Fill out all sections in green.
2. Click on the + symbol in Column F to see notes and examples of how to enter general project data.
3. Click on the + symbol in Column K to see your table for entering information to populate the dropdowns - use this to save info you use on
every estimate - like terms, and estimator contacts.
4. All of the data entered on this tab will autopopulate on the Final Estimate tab, unless it is overwritten on that tab.
1. This tab is set up to enter your specific project data. You can enter details about the existing roof conditions, including inspection info
material, slope, etc. Fill out all sections in green.
2. Under the Existing Roof Conditions there are a number of drop down menus - these pull from the areas highlighteed in yellow. You can fill
these in with your own data as desired.
Under Materials - highlighted in orange you'll see where you can enter a list of commonly used materials and their unit type & rates. An
3. example has been filled out for you. You can make this list longer than the existing line items by inserting a line anywhere above the bottom
option.
Under Labour & Equipment - highlighted in blue you'll see where you can enter a list of your crew and equipment and their unit type & rates.

5. All of the existing roof conditions data entered on this tab will autopopulate on the Final Estimate tab, unless it is overwritten on that tab.
The Materials and Labour & Equipment data is used to populate the drop down menus in the Final Estimate Tab - this can be overwritten as
6. desired.
Final Estimate:
1. Add your logo and company info to this tab in place of the template info - don't forget the address info in the footer.
2. Use the drop down menu to select your items & enter the quantities - these will auto-sum. You can use the "Other" sections to enter one-off
items that are not in your list.
3. You can print this page, or save it as a PDF in order to send to the client.
4. If you overwrite any of the formulas in the Final Estimate, the formulas will need to be re-entered, in order to work again. Keep a blank copy
of this estimate to re-use, or copy from as needed!
General Tips:
1. You can edit any of the font, colours, etc. to your liking!
