In this paper, we will share the insightful journey of our protein pancake business and
the wisdom we gained from its closure.

Our venture began from a shared passion for fitness and health. We aimed to make a
positive impact by crafting a protein pancake mix tailored for health-conscious
individuals.

Initially, our business showed promise. The market responded positively, and we were
enthusiastic about our product. However, as time passed, challenges emerged. One
essential lesson we gained was the significance of market knowledge. A deep
understanding of consumer preferences is vital. We realized that we needed more
comprehensive research. The market evolves, and so should your product. We learned
that adaptability is vital. Being agile and responsive to changing trends and consumer
needs is crucial for success.

Effective financial management is critical for any business. We recognized that better
planning for unexpected expenses, slow sales periods, and overall financial health
would have been beneficial. We discovered the value of heeding customer feedback.
Negative reviews and customer suggestions can be treasure troves of insights for
enhancement.

Our protein pancake business had its share of ups and downs, eventually leading to its
closure. This experience, while challenging, granted us a trove of valuable lessons:

Learning from Setbacks: Recognizing that failures are part of entrepreneurship and
learning from them is essential.
Preserving Knowledge: We meticulously documented our experiences and errors to
prevent their repetition in future endeavors.
In the world of entrepreneurship, each experience, even those marked by challenges
and closure, can be harnessed as steppingstones toward future accomplishments.

Group Insights

Rose: During the first week of selling, I purchased some ingredients and prepared a
total of 34 boxes, which is equal to 136 pancakes. My other groupmates will be
responsible for delivering our products to our customers to school.

Loreto: On our first week, I help prepare my groupmates on how to properly cook the
protein pancake, how much scoop of flour, eggs and more. I help estimate how many
should we produce throughout the week since it is our firs time selling this at school.

Rose: On the second day week of selling, using the same process of making our
products, I prepared a total of 26 boxes which equates to 104 pancakes.

Loreto: Our first week was good. This second week already, we minimize our
production due to lack of ingredients. And I was assigned to sell the pancakes in our
school throughout the week.

Group Insights

Rose: On the third week of selling, due to the increased of demand from customer who
have tasted our pancakes and want to buy again, I decided to acquire additional
ingredients to make more pancakes. As a result, I prepared 34 boxes, which equates to
136 pancakes.

Loreto: Time is really gold and we are now on our third week. This week is same as our
first week due to high demands of pancakes, this week we have a lot of orders and I am
the one who will deliver the product to our valued customers.

Rose: On our fourth week, I prepared a total of 26 boxes, which is equivalent to 104
pancakes, our regular customer love our pancakes because they are healthy and
suitable for their diet. That’s why they buy them everye morning for their breakfast.

Loreto: During this week, with the help of social media, we gained more customers and
pre order from us. Most of our customers are athletes they said it can help them adding
energy for their practice for their game in Foundation Day of SJIT.

Group Insights

Rose: During our last week of selling, one of our regular customers place a larger order
for our products. As a result, we prepared a total of 34 boxes, which equates to 136
pancakes. I am grateful for the assistance of my group mates, who helped me both in
preparation and delivery of our products to our customer.

Loreto: Fifth week of selling, or let’s say last week of selling. This time I help my
groupmate Rose to prepare and cook for our product due to our bulk orders. And this
week, I also count and compute our total sales from first to the very last week of this
activity.
