CE4PRJ Marking Rubric - Meeting Minutes - 2023-24

a) Records of supervisory meetings & engagement with the project

Class Mark/25 Performance classification


 At least 10 records of supervisory meetings submitted.
 Proposed actions haven’t been carried out.
 The student engaged very little with the supervisor and the project.
Fail 0 – 50  The student displayed complete lack of professionalism during the
course of the project.
 For laboratory-based projects, the student did not follow good
laboratory practice.
 At least 10 records of supervisory meetings submitted.
 Proposed actions have been carried out timely.
 There are some delays in the research project plan due to the lack of
student engagement with the project.
2.2 50 – 60
 Discussions at the meetings show student has limited insight of the
project.
 For laboratory-based projects, the student made very few attempts to
follow good laboratory practice.
 At least 10 records of supervisory meetings submitted.
 Proposed actions have been carried out timely.
 The progress of the project is well managed.
 Discussions at the meetings show student has good insight of the
2.1 60 – 70 project.
 Student demonstrated professionalism and engagement with the
project.
 For laboratory-based projects, the student was able to follow good
laboratory practice.
 At least 10 records of supervisory meetings submitted.
 The meeting minutes enable the reader to follow how the research
progressed over the project duration.
 Proposed actions have been carried out timely.
 The progress of the project is well managed.
1st 70 – 80
 Discussions at the meetings show student has very good insight of the
project.
 Student was highly professional and very engaged with the project.
 For laboratory-based projects, the student was able to follow good
laboratory practice.
Same as 1st, but also:
 During discussions, the student demonstrated originality and critical
High 1st 80 – 100 thinking.
 During the project, the student demonstrated ability to handle
uncertainty and complexity.
