managed to survive.

Ans: Gulliver was quite exhausted. On reaching the shore, he walked a few

Ans: The soldiers seemed much stronger than Gulliver because they had bows
and arrows. Besides, Gulliver was tied to the ground and the little men were
free. Also, they were many in number.
D. The little men fed Gulliver when he asked for food. Do you think they
were kind to him? Give reasons for your answer.
Ans: The little men fed Gulliver because their king had sent the food. They
understood that Gulliver needed food to remain alive. Since Gulliver was a
stranger and a giant in the eyes of the little men, they had to tie him down.
