    Global citizen essay:

    The Ambassador School of Global Leadership (ASGL) emphasizes being globally aware.

    The vision that ASGL projects is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing

    their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more

    peaceful world. A global citizen is vigilant and mindful of the people and environment around

    them.

    Trevor Noah is a global citizen because he is an example of recognizing perspectives and

    being honest with himself and others. He is a role model for recognizing perspectives because he

    frequently speaks of his own experiences growing up in apartheid-era South Africa, allowing

    others to understand different points of view. He is truthful to himself and others by openly

    discussing sensitive issues such as racism and inequality, promoting discussion and

    understanding. For instance, when addressing the controversy surrounding his appointment as

    host of The Daily Show, he acknowledged the legitimate concerns and criticisms while also

    expressing his dedication to learning and growing in his role.

    I've developed the most as a global citizen in my personal life. This connects the most to

    me being a person who seeks positive solutions and takes action. I am a person who seeks

    positive solutions and takes action because I believe in the power of proactive problem-solving

    and the impact it can have on creating a better environment for the people around me to grow.

    This also connects to me being an open-minded and caring person. I am a person who is

    open-minded and caring because when I was sent to a foreign country all alone, I embraced the

    opportunity to learn about and understand the people and their way of life. I approached every
    interaction with curiosity and respect, making an effort to connect with others and build

    meaningful relationships, which I still have to this day.

    In the future, I will be a better contributor on the global stage by continuing to develop

    knowledge and being reflective. I'm determined to broaden my knowledge by developing a

    mindset that values lifelong learning. Being knowledgeable is essential to my ability to adapt,

    grow, and make wise decisions that will advance both my personal and professional objectives in

    an environment that is constantly shifting. I also place great importance on developing a

    reflective mentality by regular reflection on my choices, feelings, and experiences. Through this

    practice, I can grow personally and have a deeper understanding of myself by learning from both

    my accomplishments and failures. I find that being reflective important because it allows me to

    make wise decisions, develop adaptability, and keep improving myself.

    In conclusion, the emphasis on global awareness at The Ambassador School of Global

    Leadership is consistent with the values that I have adopted in my quest to become a global

    citizen. The importance of acknowledging different viewpoints and encouraging open

    discussions has been emphasized by Trevor Noah's example, which is something I strive to do. I

    am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and keeping a reflective attitude as I look to the future

    because I feel that these qualities are necessary for making a positive impact on the world stage.

    By means of a dedication to constant learning and self-reflection, my objective is to not only

    mature and change on a personal level but also make knowledgeable choices that promote a

    more equal and peaceful global community.
