holiday
When it comes to a holiday of a lifetime that I would like to have in the future, a journey
with my family to Da Lat city is my first choice.
This city is a tourist attraction located in the south of Vietnam. As I have read on many articles
about this city, it has a really peaceful atmosphere, the pace of life is quite slow and local
people are so friendly and cosmopolitan. Therefore, I really want to have a chance paying a visit
to this place with my family.
About my itinerary if this dream comes true, when we come here, we can have a valuable
chance to go sightseeing and enjoy the stunning beauty of this mountainous city. We will go to
Da Lat flower garden which has gained its reputation for a variety of flowers from the light pink
of lotus to the striking red of roses. Furthermore, the local dishes are so special, so we will also
spend some time sampling them. At night, we can go for a walk to local market to experience
the nightlife here and buy some souvenirs for our relatives and friends.
To me, visiting Da Lat is my dream because of two main reasons. Firstly, the place we plan to go
to is extremely beautiful and we can enjoy a different atmosphere as well as lifestyle in a
different place. We can escape from the hustle and bustle of the rat race in Hanoi. Secondly, it
would be a chance for our family to reunite after a long year to gain a close-knit relationship.
However, finance seems to be a problem to my now, so I’m working my fingers to the bone
to make our plan come true.
1. Talk about a famous person that you know well/a
Without a doubt, a famous figure that I have a lot of admiration for is Emma Watson, who is an
actress best known for her starring role in the Harry Potter series.
I came to know her through watching the first installment of the series. In that movie, she was
still a small child and my first impression was she was a phenomenal actress. Well, she shot to
stardom after that first movie and her international fame grew bigger with each movie that
came out after.
I admire Emma Watson because it’s because Firstly, she is extremely talented. She has the
natural ability to act really well. Like I remember I was surprised at how great her performance
in the movies was she was such a small child, and I really could not imagine myself at that age
learning by heart all the lines, and then getting in front of the cameras reciting them and
showing emotions at same time as she did.
Also, she is a very dedicated feminist. She works really hard at gaining equal rights for women
because it is very important to her. For example, she launched the HeForShe campaign with a
view to encourage men and boys to take action against inequality between men and women. I
think that is really great that she is using her voice for something good.
3. important first
The 'first' is the most important thing in anyone's life, and so am I. The first and most important
thing for me was that I took the college entrance exam for the first time, which is one of the
most important exams everyone has to pass. I remember that a month before the exam, I
studied very hard, I had to go to school all week from morning to night with three subjects
Math, Literature, English. Although tired but memorable, I will probably never experience those
memories again. My friends and I have experienced feelings of fatigue, depression, but full of
will and effort to be able to get into the university of our choice. On the day of the test, I was
very nervous but very excited, finally, after two days of the exam, I finished the exam. And now,
I'm a sophomore in college. That will always be my fond memory.
4. daily routein
I want to talk about my habits. In the morning, I usually get up at 6:00 AM. After cleaning up in
the morning, I have breakfast. I study online at 8 o'clock and finish at about 11 o'clock. I have
lunch at 11:30 and I usually listen to music, watch movies and play games in my free time.
Sometimes, I read books and I usually read at noon. I usually exercise every morning and watch
the news in the afternoon. In the evening I usually watch TV with my family and have dinner at
6 o'clock, then I take a shower and do skincare. I will have free time again to watch TV series
with my mother. My friends and I usually gather on Sundays to go out for a drink or coffee.
Finally, I usually sleep at 10 pm.
5. dream job
My dream job is to work as a reporter. I enrolled in the Academy of Journalism and
Communication with that aim in mind. I want to explore everywhere in order to gather as much
information as possible. Providing the most up-to-date information to everyone. My dream
began while I was watching the news on TV and noticed that the reporters were not afraid of
difficulties or hard labor when reporting; it was inspiring. I'm hoping that my dream comes true.

MD2: Memory
1. talk about a memory first time you went to school
It was a memorable first day of first grade for me. I remember being terrified and
uncomfortable because there were so many strangers when my mother took me to a seat in
the playground following the class name, which I still remember was class 1B. I remember
sitting still and looking about. As additional friends arrived, I learned that several of them had
known me since kindergarten; I was overjoyed, and we conversed. After a brief greeting from
the principal, we were taken into our classroom by the homeroom teacher. For a 6-year-old like
myself, everything is brand new. The teacher is quite nice and attractive. We only studied for
half a day and were able to leave early because she provided us some instruction and we got to
know each other. Because it was an acquaintance [/əˈkweɪn.təns/ ], we only studied for half a
day and were able to go early. When I came out of school, I started telling my father about how
interesting today's class was. Despite the fact that it has been 14 years, I still recall my first day
of school.
2. your first day at university
It was a wonderful first day of college for me. When I first walked into the schoolyard, I
was taken aback by the size of the building and the abundance of trees in front of a gigantic
[/ˌdʒaɪˈɡæn.tɪk/] stone that the seniors affectionately referred to as "magic stone." My school is
quite large. As I ascended the steps to the 5th floor classroom, I became exhausted and
grumbled that the school building was very tall. When I first walked into the classroom, I was a
little embarrassed because everyone was new to me. In a crowd of attractive and confident
people, I feel like a small person. I sat down and struck up a chat with a few buddies; it was one
of my first conversations in college, and everyone was quite friendly. The homeroom teacher
then entered the room and explained the exam guidelines as well as some general processes;
everything went very smoothly. After that, brothers and sisters from a club came to class and
photographed us; I was photographed and uploaded on the club's fan page. after the
conclusion Walking in the schoolyard features a variety of events arranged by groups, including
music, dancing, and entertainment. Everything makes me desirous of returning. My first day of
school was filled with strong memories.
3. first time you traveled alone
I've never gone alone because I'm terrified of being alone. I'm worried that if I go alone
in a faraway place without my loved ones by my side, hazardous /ˈhæz.ə.dəs/ things would
happen, such as being tricked, losing my way, and other risks that I am unaware of. However,
I've heard that traveling alone can be a lot of fun on its own, so when I'm older, I'd like to be
able to go alone to try new things. That's fascinating.
MD3: Place
1. An interesting city that you have visited
Ha Long Bay is my favorite place I've visited. One of the world's seven natural wonders,
Ha Long Bay is a must-see for anybody visiting Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is in the northern
Vietnamese province of Quang Ninh. Hanoi is around 200 kilometers away. By automobile, I
arrived. On a Saturday, you can also arrive by coach or even aircraft. With my two friends, I
visited Ha Long in the summer when the weather was hot and sunny. We got into our hotel in
Ha Long and then went out to eat some street snacks before returning to our room to rest. We
went to Sunworld water park in the afternoon, where there were a lot of fun things to play and
we had a great time. Then we went to watch the sunset on the sea, which is simply
breathtaking. We went to the night market in the evening and then returned to the hotel to
relax. We got up early the next morning to watch the sunrise and proceeded to the Quang Ninh
Museum; in the afternoon, we went kayaking, which was a unique experience that I had never
done before. When it was late afternoon we said goodbye to Ha Long and returned to Hanoi.
End of a memorable trip.

MD4: People
1. Talk about a famous person that you know well/admire
Without a doubt, a famous figure that I have a lot of admiration for is Emma Watson,
who is an actress best known for her starring role in the Harry Potter series.
I came to know her through watching the first installment of the series. In that movie, she was

MD5: Sucess
For me, success is having a successful career, buying a house for my parents and
brother, buying a car and being able to travel around. I don't have a different definition of
success than most people. Everyone wants to have a better life, to be able to take care of their
family and to do the things they like, not to be bound in any framework, to be free to do what
they want, to see their loved ones happy. For me that is success
MD6: Media
1. An election device you often use
I have several electronic devices which I usevery often. I'm going to talk about my
laptop. It's really useful and helps me a lot with my studies, work and relaxation. The laptop has
become an essential part of my life and I can hardly think of a day without it. It has been about
2 years since my father decided to buy me a laptop to congratulate me on getting admitted to
university. After a long time, I always keep my laptop clean and It looks like new. I use own
laptop all the time and I find it convenient to use my laptop because it’s small and light, I can
bring it everywhere. In the classroom, I often use to take notes instead of writing by hand
because of typing is quickly and accurately. I think that every student should have their own
laptop at school so that they can finish their assignments with friends. In addition to studying, I
often use the laptop to relax as surfing the web, listening to music, or playing video games. I 'we
used the laptop so often because it's really useful and it has a lot of functions and features
which have made my life easier.
2. a website you often acess to
I am going to talk about Facebook, which is a popular social networking website I use on
a daily basis. Facebook is an ideal site where millions of users all over the world can post
comments, share photos, have live chats, watch short-form videos and post links to interesting
news. I get benefits from the website in numerous ways. Firstly,Facebook is really important to
me as it provides me with a good way to keep in touch or reconnect with long-lost friends.
Although I can not meet my buddies regularly, I am still able to update their conditions via
images, videos and comments posted on their personal status. Moreover, I find it easy to do the
shopping online on Facebook. There are thousands of advertisements on Facebook every day so
that I can order food or buy necessary items online such as books, shoes and clothes. Then I can
make my purchases with a click of my mouse, instead of wasting much time going from stores
to stores. Last but not least, browsing the website, I come to know about the latest happenings
in the world. Actually, this has become a great virtual space where people share their significant
events to let others know. It also plays an important role in promoting different local and
international matters. All in all, I really enjoy accessing the web every day as it seems to be my
small society and I would feel so lonely and empty without it. However, sometimes I realize that
I have spent too much time on it and should focus more on face-to-face relationships in my real
life.
3. review of a film or a book
I would like to recommend a movie based on a true case in 2008. It was the movie
"hope" released in 2013, which won the award for Best Picture at the 34th Blue Dragon.
recounts the traumatic recovery journey of little girl So Won (played by Lee Re), who was
abused and raped by a drunk when she was only 8 years old on her way to school alone on a
rainy day.
The girl's parents almost went crazy when they saw their young daughter lying on an
emergency bed with a bruised body in a public toilet. Fortunately, she is still alive, but So Won
has to carry with her physical and psychological pain and obsession for life.
After that attack, So Won suffered from depression, did not dare to contact the outside world,
especially men, and had to undergo treatment for a long time. However, the court only
sentenced the offender to 12 years in prison for the displeasure of everyone and the grief of So
Won's parents. In addition to her mother and female doctors or nurses, So Won panicked when
her father approached to take care of her daughter. To get close to her son, So Won's father
had to wear a cartoon mascot disguise, trying to approach him to step by step, to ease the
mental pain of his little daughter. "Hope" is a touching film that not only condemns pedophilia
but also talks about sacred parenthood.
MD7: Socializing
1. Tips for foreign visitors when they come to VN
However, if you are planning to explore everything, the best time to visit Vietnam is in
spring (March - April) or autumn (September - December). During these months, temperatures
are expected to be pleasant across most of the country. Second, Vietnam is not a conservative
country in terms of dress, they can wear whatever they like, but when visiting temples,
pagodas, and sacred places, they should wear long pants and a sleeveless shirt. to show
respect. The third tip is that they should learn a few basic Vietnamese words because, in
remote places like the mountains, English is not common, so to make it easier to shop or live,
some words should be known like "hello" and "thank you", "my name is..." there are so many
tips to know when coming to Vietnam that I can't list them all here. Hope Vietnam tourism will
develop more and more
MD8:
Talk about a device that you can’t live without
I definitely cannot live without my iPhone. I use my iPhone as a computer and I do
almost everything on it. I need it to call, text, browse the web, type out Google docs, take
photos and videos, and use it as an alarm. If I don’t have my iPhone, my productivity will be
severely reduced and I may even miss out on important notices and messages.
I could live without my MacBook or ipad, but I would keep my iPhone because it is an all-in-one
package. Although the screen size of my iPhone 11 (6.1”) is small compared to my 16”
MacBook, it doesn’t matter because I can sell more tasks on the iPhone than the macbook.
MD9: Future
1. Give some predictions about the future of your country (10/20 years)
- People
- education
- medical care
- enviroment
I was born and raised in Hanoi, even though I'm not sure, I will talk about my prediction
for Hanoi 10 years from now. In terms of people, the population density will probably double
now, when living standards are improved, life expectancy will increase, besides, the children
born will cause the population to increase rapidly. In terms of education, facilities will be
invested by the government with more modern equipment, students will be able to practice
more than just learning theory at present. In terms of services, there will be robots serving in
many industries such as nursing robots, delivery robots, and robots that talk to people with
psychological disorders. Finally, about the environment, maybe at that time the government
had measures to prevent environmental pollution, applying modern technologies, the city
would no longer have garbage gathering places, rivers and lakes would no longer have garbage.
emissions, fresh air, and less noise pollution. To Lich river is also green and becomes a new
tourist destination for people. Hope these predictions will come true so that Hanoi becomes an
even more beautiful city
My name is Le Hai Anh, I just turned 20 years old on June 3rd. I was born and raised in
Hanoi. I'm currently a 2nd year student. I usually have a habit of watching movies on Netflix in
my free time
