SCHEDULE ACTIVITIES
March 8, Part I. PALINDROME GAME
2024
 The students will be grouped into six. They will
answer the given worksheet about

“PALINDROME”.

Part II. MODIFIED THE BOAT IS SINKING

 "The boat is sinking, group yourselves into 5, 6 7


and so on!" When participants have settled into
their respective groups, the teacher presents a
question which participants answer and share
with their groupmates. After doing so, everyone
stands up for another round of "The boat is
sinking..."
Part III. POEM RESPONSE

 The students will read the poem entitled “THE


ROAD NOT TAKEN” by Robert Frost.

“THE ROAD NOT TAKEN”


Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,


And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay


In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh


Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

 After reading, the students will answer the


following questions on a sheet of paper.
1. How does the poem make you feel?
2. Does the poem make you see something in a
different way? Explain.
3. Tell me a part of the poem that you like/dislike and
why.
4. Which words help you to see pictures in your mind?

5. What part of the poem surprises you?
