The teacher will introduce the topic Up in the Sky with the nursery rhyme, Twinkle twinkle
little star, how I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky
and complete it with the rest of the class. With that, the teacher will get the class to do the
Get Set ! and use the board to categorise things that we see on land and in the sky.

During the day we see the Sun, the clouds in the sky and at night we see the stars and
the Moon. The teacher will define the term ‘heavenly bodies’, give examples and tell that not
