Windows10.
Detailed Information
1. Main changes
(1) CPU board (Applicable to: All XN-L Series)
Note:
• Parts for Windows7 above are still available after this ECR.
• Use the appropriate parts according to OS.
3. Program version
Ver.5.19-00 (00-24) and higher is required to adopt these parts or replacement kit. (Refer to
the ECR319E047)
4. Other changes
Noise reduction parts for RET which is upward compatible parts of the parts registered on
ECR320D041 "[FCA#2002] Releasing countermeasure for RET data issue" (CZ745327 KIT
NO. 682 (FOR NOISE REDUCTION)) have been registered as follows.
Caution:
• When replacing PCB NO.30013 in an instrument which KIT NO.843(WIRING
CORD W/NOISE FILTER) has not been applied, use KIT NO.844(WIRING
CORD W/NOISE FILTER)
• When replacing KIT NO.682 (FOR NOISE REDUCTION) to KIT NO.843 (WIR-
ING CORD W/NOISE FILTER), check the sensitivity of RET% and RET#. (Per-
form sensitivity adjustment as needed)
• Some FCM laser bench has shipped with KIT NO.682 (or no kit) depending on
shipping date. Therefore, when replacing FCM laser bench, do not use KIT
NO.682 that comes with PM parts, but use the existing cord.
Action To Be Taken
Caution:
Replacement of PCB No.30013 by itself is limited to the case where KIT NO.843
(WIRING CORD W/NOISE FILTER) has been applied already. If KIT NO.843 (WIR-
ING CORD W/NOISE FILTER) is not applied, there is a risk of RET data failure.

1 / 26 320E013-R1
1. Restrictions and Precautions
The IPU version on WES 7 and the IPU version installed on Win 10 should be the same.
If not, upgrade the WES7 IPU first.
The version installed on Win10 must be Ver. 00-24 or higher.
Log files are not included in this procedure because they are not to be restored. If
necessary, back up and store logs separately.
Restoring NVRAM files directly overwrites files. The offset adjustment value of the board
is not restored when restored by the procedure in the Service Manual (The way that use
Service Program).
Remove the USB memory for the first boot after connecting the SSD. (Drive letter
allocation problems occur)
2. Outline
Preliminary preparation
Getting Backup data on WES7 instrument

2 / 26 320E013-R1
5. Prior data verification
If necessary, confirm the data by QC measurement before the work. (For comparison of
data after work)
(2) Shift the IPU logon screen to verify the IPU version and make sure it is 00-24 or
later and the same version as after the Win 10 upgrade. If they are not identical,
upgrade them so that they are identical.
* If the WES 7 and Win 10 versions are not the same, you cannot restore the
data after a Win 10 upgrade.
(3) After checking the version, close the IPU program and return to Windows screen.
(4) Start the Backup tool (Backup.exe) from D:\Sysmex\tools and save the file to a
USB drive.
3 / 26 320E013-R1
6.2 Backing Up the NVRAM File
Copy the NVRAM backup file (NvramFile.mmb) in D:\Sysmex\NvramFile to a USB
drive.
