1. INTRODUCTION
2. SCOPE
This guideline applies to all QCHEM, QCII, RLOC employees and base load
contractors, and whoever is involved in observation process as observer or observee.
3. GENERAL GUIDELINES:
3.1 Coached observation can be done with any current / previous QIT (QSAFE
Improvement Team) members OR trained coached observers. (Observation
done with current QIT members will only be considered for observer of the
month eligibility.)
3.2 Coached observer and employee should do independent observations.
3.3 After end of the observation both should share their comments with each other.
3.4 Feedback should be carried out by both observers jointly.
3.5 Both should feed observation data sheet separately in to the system, based on
behaviours observed by individual only.
3.6 Coach should coach a maximum of 3 QSAFE observers during any single
observation.
3.7 Maximum 4 people should do observation on a single activity or task including
coach.
3.8 Coached observation can be done with lead worker / worker of the same group
involved in the task.
