    A reinforced concrete slab, 4 meters at short side and 8 meters on the long side discontinuous on all
    sides supported by beams on perimeter has the following slab reinforcement:

    1. Estimate the quantity of bottom reinforcement:

    Find the most economical length:

    Shoring (@1m along stringer ): 8x 4 = 32-2”x4”x 10’ = 214 bd-ft.
    Total = 575.6 bd-ft
