2.Calculate the capillary rise in a glass tube of 2.0 x 10-3m diameter when dipped in
(a) water (b) mercury. Take surface tension for water and mercury as 0.072N/m and 0.52N/m respectively.
Specific gravity of mercury is 13.6 and θ=130° .(4marks)
3 With the aid of a label diagram explain the rise or fall of liquid in a capillary tube. (3 marks).
