Example
Write a report to inform the head of the Geography department
about a field trip that the CSEC Geography cohort went on.
They went to the Palisadoes tombolo to examine the coastal
features formed by the waves. The purpose of this trip was so
that the students could complete a crucial component of their
SBA. 88 students went on the field trip and were accompanied
by 3 Geography teachers, Mr. Sinclair, Mrs. Reynolds and Ms.
Clarke. They wore the school polo shirt, school appropriate jeans
and sneakers. They left the school compound at 8:00 AM and
returned at 2:30 PM.
Example (Continued)
The excursion was sponsored by the JUTC and was free of cost.
2 buses were used, each with a seating capacity of 53 persons.
However, students were advised to walk with around $2000 in
pocket money. They were also advised to walk with their
notebooks to record their observations, water and a packed
lunch. At the end of the excursion, the students were able to
determine the coastal features formed by the waves. The
excursion went well as a result of the students being carefully
monitored. They carried themselves in a respectable manner.
