    'DON'T DRIINK THE WATER'

    1 EXT. BUILDING ENTRANCE - DAY

    PERSON C approaches the entrance of the buidling.

    They seem nervous. Glancing this way and that way as they
    move.

    They give one final look behind them before they disappear
    through the entrance.

    CUT TO:

    2 INT. CORRIDOR. - DAY

    PERSON C makes their way along the corridor.

    A determind look on their face.

    They pass by rooms until they stop outside a door. They


    pause briefly before opening the door and entering.

    CUT TO:

    3 INT. ROOM - DAY

    PERSON C enters the room and takes it in.

    There is a table and chair set out.

    A single bottle of water sits on the table.

    PERSON C moves to the table and sits.

    They look around.

    C is anxious, worried. They pull out their phone and place


    it on the table in front of them.

    C grabs the bottle of water, opens it and takes a long swig.

    The phone rings.

    Mid swig, C pauses and looks down at the ringing phone.

    C slowly lowers the bottle and stares at the phone.

    C places the bottle back down onto the table and gentle picks
    up the phone.

    C takes a moment before answering.


    2.

    PERSON C
    Hello?

    Nothing.

    PERSON C (CONT'D)
    Hello? Who is this?

    Nothing.

    PERSON C (CONT'D)
    Speak!

    Silence.

    C starts to shake their head, the phone still against their


    ear.

    PERSON C (CONT'D)
    If you are there and you can hear
    me, please let me know

    Nothing but silence.

    An idea flashes across C’s face.

    Looking around the room, C continues to speak.

    PERSON C (CONT'D)
    I’m here, I’m in the room. I
    followed the directions (beat) and
    I’m alone

    A moments pause.

    PERSON C (CONT'D)
    (Frustrated) What next?

    Silence. Then...........

    The line crackles into life and a distorted voice is heard.

    VOICE
    There is an envelope under the
    table

    C, in disbelieve, reaches under the table and searches for


    the envelope. Their fingers find it.

    C brings out the envelope and stares at it before slowly


    placing it down on the table.

    C takes a moment before returning to the Voice.


    3.

    PERSON C
    What next?

    There is a pause.

    VOICE
    Open it

    CLICK. The phone goes dead.

    C looks at the phone and then the envelope.

    Slowly C places the phone down and picks up the envelope.

    C stares and sizes it up before slowly opening it.

    C pulls out a piece of paper and unfolds it.

    It reads...............

    DON’T DRINK THE WATER

    C immediately looks at the opened bottle of water.

    CUT TO:

    THE END
