CORSIA is coming!
Are you ready?
Do you operate internationally? If so, then by September 30,
2018 you may need to comply with the International Civil
Aviation Organization’s Carbon Offsetting and Reduction
Scheme for International Aviation.

Learn how we can help with Jeppesen Emissions Reporter

(/main/corporate/aviation/products/emissions-
reporter/emissions-reporter.jsp).

What is CORSIA?
CORSIA is a market-based measure to track and offset
carbon emissions on a global scale, with a goal of carbon

neutral growth from 2020. This initiative will be

implemented in a phased approached. Emissions

monitoring, reporting and verification is mandatory for all
operators meeting the eligibility criteria.

Who does this affect?

Due to the global nature of CORSIA, it is highly likely that if you operate internationally,
you will be affected by CORSIA. If you meet the criteria below, you likely qualify.

CHECK TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY FOR CORSIA (/MAIN/CORPORATE/AVIATION/PRODUCTS/FUEL-EFFICIENCY/CORSIA-CALCULATOR.JSP)

When will this begin?

CORSIA will have a phased implementation, but all operators that qualify should have a monitoring plan in
place by Sept. 30, 2018. The phased plan includes two years of baseline monitoring and reporting, a pilot
phase where some countries may require carbon offsetting, and first and second phases, where more
countries will be included in the offsetting part of the program. Check here
(https://www.icao.int/environmental-protection/Pages/market-based-measures.aspx) for an up-to-date
list of the participating countries:
