Emulsifying Machine Operation Manual

Please pay special attention to the following matters when operating this product

√ When wiring is implemented, be sure to turn off the power supply.

√ Do not modify the neutral line or line inside the equipment.

√ The controller of this equipment is used for three-phase power (three-phase five-wire) can
not be used for single-phase power.

√ Only qualified electrical professionals can install, wire, repair and maintain the equipment.

√ When installing the equipment, please comply with the installation precautions. Unauthorized

1. Vacuum emulsifying machine overview and whole machine process flow

⑴ Overview of vacuum emulsifying machine

Vacuum emulsification refers to the material in the vacuum state, the use of high shear emulsifier efficiently,
quickly, uniform distribution of one phase or more phases to another phase, and usually each phase (such as oil
phase and water phase) is incompatible. It uses the strong kinetic energy brought by machinery to make the
material withstand the combined effects of hydraulic shear, centrifugal extrusion, impact tearing and trent flow for
hundreds of thousands of times per minute in the narrow gap between the fixed and rotor, so that the insoluble
phase can be dispersed and emulsified instantaneously and evenly under the combined action of the corresponding
mature technology and appropriate additives. The result is a bubble-free, fine and stable high quality product.

(2) General situation of homogenizer

The homogenizer is a combination of mixing, emulsifying and dispersing hot/cold feeds (both liquid and solid),
allowing most of the material to pass through the homogenizer to a vacuum mixing system. The rotor and stator
design of this system helps ensure the narrow particle distribution required for high-quality products. The internal
homogenization mode eliminates the need for external loops, thus simplifying the operation of the device. In
addition, the final product is discharged through an external bypass valve. The homogenizer itself can produce a
pressure of 3 bar to facilitate the discharge and delivery of high-viscosity products, while completing its own CIP
cleaning.

1, the main use

Hydraulic lift series vacuum emulsifier is based on the comprehensive absorption of foreign imported equipment,
improved development of high-grade cosmetics and pharmaceutical production equipment, the equipment has rapid
homogenization, heating and cooling and vacuum defoaming and other functions, and has a good homogenization
effect (emulsification fineness up to 1μm, Good sanitary conditions, high thermal efficiency, reliable electrical
control, stable operation, easy operation and maintenance, low labor intensity. Suits our national conditions,

Can completely replace imported equipment, is the ideal equipment for the production of cream, cream, honey
cosmetics. And can be used in pharmaceutical, food, fine chemical and other high-viscosity material industry in the
production of related products.

2. Scope of application

Daily chemical and Cosmetic industry:

Skin care cream, shaving cream, shampoo, toothpaste, cold cream, sunscreen, facial cleanser,

Nutritional honey, detergent, shampoo, etc.

Pharmaceutical Industry:

Latex, emulsion, ointment (ointment), oral syrups, liquid, etc.

□ Start the power supply of the control box

- First turn on the power switch before turning on the device, and the three-phase power indicator
is on

□ Control box temperature adjustment and operation

- When setting the temperature, set the corresponding temperature value on the corresponding
thermometer (for example, when setting 50℃, turn on the heating switch, the device will
automatically stop after heating to 50℃, if the temperature drops after setting the deviation
value, it will automatically heat again)

- To stop heating, press the stop button

□ Adjustment and operation of homogenizing time

- Set the corresponding homogenization time on the Homogenization time controller (for example,
set 10 minutes, turn on the homogenization button

After the button, the homogenizer will automatically stop running after 10 minutes)

Main Pot

□ Function of the main pot


- The main pot is mainly used for heating the materials of the water tank and oil tank, and then
entering the main pot for reheating.

Homogenization, stirring, vacuuming, cooling, emulsifying, adding spices and other processes of
production.

□ Main pot pot lid process opening

- Aroma mouth: used to add a small amount of other spices and additives;

- Material observation hole: used to observe the materials in the tank;

- Mirror light: used to illuminate the pot;

- Vacuum port: used to vacuum the materials in the tank;

- Vacuum pressure gauge: used to observe the vacuum in the tank;

- Air breathing apparatus: used to filter the air entering the pot when placing vacuum to ensure
hygiene;

□ Structure of the main pot

The main pot is composed of inner layer, sandwich layer and insulation layer

- Inner layer: Store materials

- Lamination: heating and cooling

- Insulation layer: polyammonium fat foam insulation material

Vacuum System

□ Vacuum pump for water circulation vacuum pump; Maximum vacuum: ≤0.09Mpa

□ When starting the vacuum pump, ensure that the rotation direction of the motor of the vacuum pump is
consistent with the direction of the arrow on the support.

□ When vacuuming, observe the vacuum pressure gauge on the main pot to reach the required process vacuum

When, close the vacuum pump;

□ Vacuum pump start and stop operation

Select the operation button on the control panel and select the vacuum pump start button

- Push the start button and the vacuum pump starts

- Put the stop button on its vacuum pump to stop

warning
1) Open the vacuum pump first, then open the vacuum valve
2) Close the valve first and then the vacuum pump
3) Closing the valve and opening the vacuum pump are basically synchronized, so as to prevent water from
returning to the pot and causing pollution

Hydraulic cylinder lifting system

□ Hydraulic cylinder lifting system is composed of hydraulic cylinder, guide shaft, position switch and oil
solenoid valve

□ When the system is lifting, make sure that the emulsifier and agitator have been closed and the main pot has no
fixture, otherwise it will cause danger

warning

1. Hydraulic pump, be sure to focus on checking the oil level, and fill the oil to the liquid level when the

pump is stopped (glass mirror is the standard).

2. When the oil is found to be contaminated by mechanical or chemical impurities in the pump oil, the

pump oil should be replaced in time.


□ Lid lift and drop operation:

Select the operation button on the control panel and select the pneumatic lift button

- Lid rise time hold down the rise key on the control panel until it stops automatically;

(will stop rising when released)

- Lid down time Hold down the button on the control panel until the lid is firmly compressed;

(Release will stop falling)

warning

1When rising, it is necessary to ensure that the vacuum in the tank has been emptied,
otherwise the rise in the case of vacuum in the tank will cause the deformation of the
tank cover and damage to the cylinder, and the material in the inner pot will splash out
in the negative pressure state to avoid injury

2When falling, human hands and other objects should not be placed on the flange of the
tank to avoid crushing injuries;

□ Pour and return operation:

Hold the handle crank, slowly shake down, the main pot of materials can be completely tilted out. Similarly, shake
in the opposite direction until the main pan returns to its original normal position.

Instructions

1 When pouring, it is necessary to raise the tank to a certain height to avoid the tank
touching the agitator when pouring, resulting in no pouring
2 When pouring, it is also necessary to observe whether the agitator and homogenizer in
the pot body are stopped to avoid accidents

3 If there is positive discharge pressure《0.25MPa.

Main pot mixing system

□ Main pot mixing system

- The stirrer of the main pot is composed of a stirring shaft, a stirring blade and a scraper

When stirring, the direction of the external stirring is to drag the scraper forward

□ Start and stop operation of the main pot

Select the operation button on the control panel and select the stir start or Stop button for the main pan

- Turn the main stirring button switch of the main pan to the starting direction, and then adjust the operation of the
stirring governor

The main stirring of the main pot runs at the required speed, if the speed of the main stirring needs to be adjusted,
the potentiometer is directly used in the panel of the main stirring governor.

Instructions

When the direction of the emulsifying machine looks from top to bottom, it is always rotating
in the opposite direction, and this direction must not be changed

If the direction is reversed, the motor line should be changed and adjusted to normal;
- First set the potential regulator on the stirring governor to zero speed, and then turn the button switch to the off
direction, and the main pan of the main stirring stops running

Homogeneous emulsion system

□ The composition of the homogeneous emulsion system

- Emulsifying machine is composed of vertical motor, stator and rotor emulsifying blade

- Emulsified secret seal adopts imported specially designed double-sided water circulation mechanical seal;

□ Preparation before operation of emulsifying machine

- Check whether there is product in the pot


- Check whether there is water in the water circulation pipe of the homogenizer;

□ Start and stop operation of emulsifying machine

Select the action button on the control panel

Instructions

1 The speed adjustment range is 1-50HZ (not more than 50HZ)

2 Frequency converter can be used to control the running direction of the main mixing, see
the separate manual of the frequency converter for details

3 Be sure to have a professional electrician to perform this operation


- Press the start button of the emulsifier, and the emulsifier in its main pot will start emulsifying

Instructions

When the direction of the emulsifying machine looks from top to bottom, it is always rotating in the opposite
direction, and this direction must not be changed
If the direction is reversed, the motor line should be changed and adjusted to normal;

- If you want to stop the emulsifying machine, press the stop button of the main pot emulsifying machine, and the
emulsifying machine in the main pot will stop running

□ Time setting of main pot emulsifying machine

- When opening the emulsifying machine, start the start button of the emulsifying machine first, and control the
homogenization time

There will be a light on the device and enter the required homogenization time
- Start the homogenizer operation button, the homogenizer starts to run, and will automatically stop when the input
control time is reached

Warning

Before the emulsifying machine is opened, ensure that there is enough material in the tank
to open the homogeneous mixing Otherwise, opening the emulsion in the absence of liquid will
cause damage to the parts of the emulsifying machine

Heating and cooling system

□ Boiler body heating

- Ensure that there is sufficient heating medium (e.g. water) in the jacket of all tanks and that the upper exhaust
valve is opened before heating

Warning

1 Before heating, it is necessary to make sure that there is not enough water in the jacket
of the tank, such as in the absence of water, it will cause dry burning of the heating
tube without water, and damage the heating tube

2 Before heating, be sure to make sure that the upper exhaust valve has been opened. If
the upper exhaust valve is not opened, the pressure in the tank will continue to rise
when starting heating, causing the pressure in the tank to be too high, causing damage
to the tank and possibly causing an explosion. Note: such as oil heating; Must be heat
conduction oil, avoid the use of other oil heating lead to fire;
- After the above work is completed, set the required heating temperature

• Select the appropriate temperature controller on the control panel to set the required heating temperature

- Activate the corresponding heating switch

• After setting the required heating temperature, select the corresponding heating switch to start heating

Electronic Control System

□ Temperature control system - Users can monitor the heating condition through the temperature digital display
instrument
Pumping system

□ The pumping system is in the main pot negative pressure, with a hose into the water tank, fuel tank

The medium is absorbed into the main pot for homogenizing stirring

- When pumping, the tank must reach a certain negative pressure before it can start sucking

- Keep the hose free from distortion and bending during suction

3. Equipment operation safety instructions

□ Electrical System

- Equipment must have a reliable ground neutral wire.

- Check the insulation coefficient of the equipment frequently with a multimeter

- Check the tightness of various electrical wire lugs in the electric control box regularly (every other month)
- In the case of very wet conditions, the use of the equipment should be stopped as soon as possible to avoid short
circuit

- There should be good ventilation around the circuit control box to ensure the safety of the equipment

- Make sure there is enough media in the tank when heating

- When heating, when closing and opening the pipeline valve, attention should be paid to the standardization of
operation to avoid burns

□ Emulsification operation part

- When the lid of the tank is raised, make sure that the drain valve is open, otherwise it will cause danger

- When the lid of the tank is lowered, the human body part should not come into contact with the flange of the tank
to avoid clamping

Wound; The lid of the tank must be completely dropped into the tank before mixing can be started to avoid
accidents

- The operating platform should be kept dry and free of water as far as possible to avoid slipping

- When there is negative pressure in the tank, the finger should be avoided into the hopper and suction tube,
because the suction will cause damage to the finger.

4: Common faults and elimination

Electric heating, turn on the heating button, the heating button and the leakage protector is disconnected:

Fault cause: heating tube burned out;


No reaction on enlightening heat pipe:

Fault cause: Check whether the heating pipe is short circuit, check whether the press and leakage switches work;

Solution: determine the parts after maintenance and replacement;

When vacuuming, the vacuum pump makes a loud sound and no negative pressure is generated:

The cause of the failure: the one-way check valve on the vacuum pump pipeline rust dead, the one-way valve
can not be opened;

Solution: ① Gently knock the check valve with a small hammer for a few weeks, let the check valve loosen,
and then open the vacuum pump several times;

② Check the valve of each pot port, whether the valve is open and the pipe leakage;

Circuit tripping when homogenizing:

Fault cause: ① homogeneous motor short circuit.

(2) The homogeneous seal is damaged, material or water leaks out from the homogenizer, and the motor is
burned out without being found in long-term use;

Solution: Check whether the motor is short circuit, replace, repair the motor, replace the homogeneous seal;

Mixing paddle does not start:


Fault cause: inverter failure;

Solution: ① Check whether the frequency converter has a program disorder, reset the frequency conversion
program;

② Frequency conversion failure, timely maintenance;

The Three-phase indicators are Off


Fault causes: ① indicator light is bad ② circuit phase missing;

Solution: ① Replace the indicator light ② Check the damage of circuit components and replace them in time;

Temperature Indicates the highest temperature or no temperature

Fault cause: The temperature probe is damaged

Solution: Replace the probe

Maintenance and maintenance guidelines

- Always keep the appearance of the equipment clean, watermarked, and smooth

- Always keep the equipment clean, after each product, should be washed with hot water as soon as possible

- Always check the emulsifying blade of the emulsifying machine and whether the screws are loose

- Whether the water inlet pipe of the emulsifying machine is smooth and whether the water inlet solenoid valve
works normally
- Regularly check whether the grease in the mixing reducer is sufficient and has no noise

- Check regularly whether the valve on the emulsion tank is open and closed smoothly, without leakage
