Practice Teaching Experiences

A. Summary of Classroom Experiences

Week 1

This is my first week of my teaching internship.


This week is their examination. I was assigned
in Grade 6, under the supervision of Ms.
Cristina E. Taruc. Grade 6 students were so
active in class, they participate very well. Since
it was their examination day, Ma’am Tina let
me to observe her students
Week 2
I was assigned in Nursery and
Kindergarten under the supervision of Ms.
Krisha G. Isip. Nursery and Kindergarten
are so sweet and charming. Our activity
went so exciting, they enjoy in their art
class which is the clay making.
Their morning routine is by having an
energizer and they enjoy it. I learned on
how to deal and build a good relationship
with my students and my cooperating
teacher. They welcome me as one of their
teacher.
Week 3

I was assigned in Grade 5 under Ms. Dianne’s


supervision in my third week. I was instructed
to observe their class by my cooperating
teacher. The discussion was extremely fruitful.
Students in fifth grade are so engaged in class
that they participate in class activities. I teached
Araling Panlipunan subject. I checked their
activities and assignments. I guarantee that my
students appreciate and have more information.
Week 4

In week 4, I was assigned in Grade 6, under the


management of Ms. Cristina. This week was so
busy. Teacher Tina teaches Music about notes at
the beginning of the week. It was a superb
example since grade 6 student was getting the
hang of composing notes and they can play a
keyboard. The students were very good at
playing the keyboard.
In their EPP class, they can attract the
apparatuses and types of gear planting. Their
work is good, and I must say that they know
enough about this topic. The student also went
outside the following day to observe the nursery.
In planting, there are a number of tools and
equipment. Because they participate in this kind
of outdoor activity, students are overjoyed.
Teacher Carol visit them in nursery and
examined the various types of grass. This week
was so enjoyable and joyful.
Week 5

In my fifth week I was assigned in the


fifth grade. Their review for their exam
preparation takes place this week. I spent
the entire week reviewing the students in
various subjects, I helped my cooperating
teacher in doing so.
In my sixth week, I was appointed in grade 6. Their examination is this week. I helped my
coordinating teacher to deal with the class. Their seating arrangement surprised me. Teacher Tina
makes sure that her students can't cheat on exams. We assisted the teachers in cleaning the classroom

Week 7-11

Absent due to medical issues.


Week 12
I was assigned in Grade 6. This week is my groundwork for
my last Instructing demo. Due to my medical issues, I had a
brief preparation period, which made me a little bit nervous. I
had some challenges after missing my internship for a long
week, but I easily overcame them. I've been missing them so
much, and they gave me a warm welcome. I began my week
by greeting them and opening with a prayer. Because I only
have a short amount of time to prepare, this week is so
exhausting. The following day, I tell them what they need to
do during my demonstration teaching.

I'm a little bit nervous at first because this is my final demo,


but I know I can do it. Ms. Dianne, my critic teacher,
encourages and supports me. My lesson plan is revised with
her assistance. "The Planets in Our Solar System" is the sole
focus of my topic. Students in sixth grade enjoy our
conversation. They are enthusiastic and dynamic with our
conversation. I was extremely proud of them, and I am
pleased to see that they enjoyed our conversation. I present
them with a token of my appreciation and am delighted to see
their smile. I have to say that this is my luckiest and happiest
day yet, and I can finally say, "I did it."
Week 13
In my 13th week, I was able to teach Grade 6 students. We start our
class with opening prayer. In morning I always teach ESP and we
share our thoughts in class. Our discussion went successful because
it was interesting subject.

This is my last week to teach. As a student teacher, I had the


privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds,
cultures, and learning abilities. Though trial and error, I learned is
teaching is a collaboration and teamwork.
