01 (2020-04-07)
This is the first commercial release.
Compared with Draft A (2020-01-20), this issue does not include any new topics
or changes, or exclude any topics.
Draft A (2020-01-20)
This is a draft.
RRU3826 Technical Specifications is a separate document created for this release.
Its content derives from section "RRU3826 Technical Specifications" under RRU
Technical Specifications. In this and subsequent releases, this content is removed
from RRU Technical Specifications and constitutes a separate document.
Compared with section "RRU3826 Technical Specifications" under RRU Technical
Specifications of Issue 05 (2019-10-25) in V100R015C10, this issue does not
include any new topics or changes, or exclude any topics.

Band (MHz) Frequency Band (MHz)
Band (MHz)
a: ATBR in the TX/RX Mode column indicates that the RF module uses A
transmit channels and B receive channels.

Band (MHz) Output
Powera
a: AxC W in the Maximum Output Power column indicates that the number of
TX channels of the RF module is A and the maximum output power of each TX
channel is C W.
NOTE
Receiver Sensitivity
NOTE
● ATBR in the TX/RX Channel column indicates that the RF module uses A transmit channels
and B receive channels.
● The UMTS receiver sensitivity, as recommended in 3GPP TS 25.141, is measured at the
antenna connector assuming that the channel rate is 12.2 kbit/s and the bit error rate (BER)
is lower than or equal to 0.001.
RF Compliance Standards
Item Standard
Input Power
NOTE
The RRU3826 supports AC power supply when connected to an external AC/DC power module
or an OPM15M. For details, see AC/DC Power Module User Guide and OPM15M User Guide.
Item Specifications
NOTE
Table 3-8 Power consumption of the DBS (–48 V DC) (configured with the
RRU3826 2100 MHz)
● "AxB" is used for UMTS, indicating that A sectors are configured, each with B
carriers. Unless otherwise specified, this document assumes that one sector is
configured with one RF module.
● The typical power consumption of UMTS is measured when the ambient
temperature is 25°C (77°F) and the traffic load reaches 40%.
● The maximum power consumption of UMTS is measured when the ambient
temperature is 25°C (77°F) and the traffic load reaches 100%.
Environmental Specifications
Item Specifications
NOTE
The output power of an RRU temporarily decreases when it operates at temperature ranges
10ºC (18ºF) less than or equal to its maximum rated value. This is dependent on
installation scenario, traffic load, and carrier configuration.
NOTE
● Unless otherwise specified, the lightning protection specifications depend on the surge
waveform of 8/20 μs.
● Unless otherwise specified as maximum discharge current, all the surge current items refer
to nominal discharge current.
Item Standard
Item Standard
a: The validity period is one year. The product can function properly within the
validity period if the storage environment meets the preceding standards.
Table 3-12 CPRI port protocol and rate of an RRU3826 (2100 MHz)
Number of CPRI Ports Protocol Type Port Rate (Gbit/s)
The maximum level of cascading between an RRU and a BBU depends on the
cascading capability of the RRU working in different RATs and the bandwidth
resources of the CPRI ports on the BBU side. The following table provides the
maximum level of cascading and maximum distance between an RRU and a BBU
when the RRU works in a single mode. When the RRU works in multimode
concurrency scenarios, the maximum level of cascading and maximum distance
between the multimode RRU and a BBU are determined by the capabilities for the
mode with the lowest capabilities.
General Rules
● For an nT RF module (n is 2, 4, or 8), the restriction is as follows:
