The study found that food and beverages are the highest contributor to plastic pollution at 31.4%, while straws contribute the least at 7.27%. Plastic pollution harms both the environment and wildlife, taking centuries to decompose in landfills and oceans. It is important to reduce plastic use to avoid continued damage from pollution.

RESULT AND DISSUSSION
From the study, we can say that the highest contributor of plastic pollution is from food and beverages, which is about 31.4%, and the least contributor is the straws that is about 7.27%. Similarly, other factors like Bottle and container caps, Plastic bags, Disposable cups and lids, etc. also play a crucial role for the increasing plastic pollution. The study reveals the bitter truth that although we all are aware about the consequences of plastic pollution; we are not contributing our roles to minimize the use of plastics. The study has mentioned about the adverse effects of using plastics. Plastic is a major contributor to both land and water pollution. When it is not properly disposed of, it can end up in our oceans and rivers, harming marine life. It can also end up in landfills, where it takes centuries to decompose. Plastics are made from petroleum, which means its production contributes to deforestation. The more plastic we use, the more trees are cut down to make way for oil drilling and refining facilities. Similarly, Plastic production emits greenhouse gases, which contribute to climate change. Climate change is a major threat to both humans and wildlife, and it is only getting worse as we continue to pump more and more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Plastic contains harmful chemicals that can leach into food and water. These chemicals link to cancer, reproductive problems, and other health issues. Moreover, Wildlife is also becoming entangled because of the plastics. Animals can also mistake plastic for food and eat it, which can cause blockages in their digestive system or even starve them to death. Sea turtles are especially vulnerable to plastic pollution, as they often mistake floating plastic for jellyfish and eat it. Since, the use of plastics not only harm human lives but also the wildlife along with our precious nature so we have to reduce the use of plastics to avoid such consequences. 5. CONCLUSION In conclusion, the adverse effects of plastic on the environment are vast and varied. They range from the adverse effect on our health to the destruction of our marine life. Plastic Pollution is on the rise because nowadays people are using plastic endlessly. It is very economical and easily available. Moreover, plastic does not dissolve in the land or water, it stays for more than hundred years contributing to upraise of plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is affecting the earth in various ways. It is polluting our water. This causes a shortage of clean water and thus we cannot have enough supply for all. Moreover, it is also ruining our soils and lands. The soil fertility is depleting and disease-carrying insects are collecting in landfills of plastic. Most people are aware of the problems that plastic can cause for the environment. We cannot continue to ignore the problem any longer, and we must take action to reduce our reliance on plastic. While many people try to avoid using plastic as much as possible, it is still a significant part of our lives. It is used in everything from packaging to construction materials. For its reduction, we must avoid products with excess or unnecessary plastic packaging and adopt reusable items such as water bottles, shopping bags, keep cups and travel cutlery. We should avoid single-use plastics such as drinking straws and if you go shopping, remember to take a cloth bag rather than using the plastic bags. Hereby, we can start by making small changes in our everyday lives. Every little bit helps, and together we can make a difference.
