    A1 HVAC system for EOF shall be provided with standby system.

    Buildings located in Class I, Zone 2 or Class I, Division 2 electrical areas

    If the maximum design capacity of the HVAC system is supplied by two


    or more normally operating units, at least one standby unit shall be SAES-K-002

    provided with a capacity equal to or greater than the capacity of the Para 4.3.3.1
    largest operating unit.

    In case the maximum HVAC system demand is satisfied by one

    A6 operating unit only, the capacity of the standby unit shall be at least

    equal to the capacity of the operating unit.

    Alarms shall be provided for all HVAC systems to provide warning of

    A7 power loss (from the normal supply) and failure of any portion of the
    Para 4.3.4.1
    HVAC system.
    All alarm devices shall be independent of the normal power supply of the SAES-K-002

    Individual alarm devices shall be connected to a master alarm in a
    location where they can be conveniently observed by an attendant or SAES-K-002

    other responsible person designated by the management of this Para 4.3.4.3

    In cases where the facility is not attended full time, the system shall be
    connected to an alarm at the security office, utilities office, fire station or SAES-K-002
