Momento de Volteo
De acuerdo al API 650 pág. 5-10, 5.2.1, k Wind, 1; la presión de diseño del viento proyectada sobre areas verticales cilíndricas deberá
ser de 0.86 KPa y la proyectada sobre áreas horizontales de superficies cónicas de 1.44 KPa. En el presente documento se realizó el
cálculo de estas presiones apoyados con la herramienta Sistema Viento, basado en el análisis de Diseño por viento de la CFE 2008; sin
embargo, cabe mencionar que la presión proyectada sobre áreas verticales cilíndricas es mayor la propuesta por el código API que la
obtenida por el método de CFE.
La presión proyectada sobre superficies cónicas es mayor la obtenida por el método API que el de la CFE. Debido a ésto, se decide
usar las presiones del metodo API que serán más conservadoras para el análisis, las cuales son las siguientes:

Para saber si el tanque requiere de anclaje por acciones del viento, se procede a calcular el momento de volteo,

Debido a que el tanque no cumple con el numeral F.1.3 ni con el numeral 5.10.2.6.d. no se considera el caso de carga

CONCLUSIONES
Se determinó el cálculo de estabilidad por sismo, se determinaron los espectros de diseño mediante el análisis de sismo de
la CFE 2008, derivado del análisis de sismo podemos concluir que el tanque presenta levantamiento, sin embargo la
envolvente satisface los requerimientos de compresión. Se recomienda usar anclaje
El análisis de estabilidad por efectos del viento fué el último análisis realizado en ésta memoria, se realizaron los cálculos
iniciales de acuerdo al diseño por viento de la CFE 2008, donde se determinaron la velocidad de diseño y la presión a usar
para realizar el cálculo de la estabilidad por viento mediante la metodología API 650 ED. 2013. Se verificó durante éste
análisis el uso de anillos rigidizadores por la acción del viento en la envolvente y mediante éstos cálculos se establece que
no se requieren. De igual forma se calculó el momento de volteo y se verificaron los criterios de estabilidad por viento,
donde se determina que el tanque es estable pero se recomienda un anclaje.
