#4 PLC Memory (4 Nov.)

The document discusses different types of timers used in PLC programming including ON delay timer, OFF delay timer, retentive ON delay timer, pulse timer, and extended pulse timer. It also discusses concepts like set and reset, positive and negative edge, start and stop with set and reset, parallel outputs, and simulation methods.

(Reset Coil) is executed only if the RLO of the (Set Coil) is executed only if the RLO of the
preceding instructions is "1" (power flows to the preceding instructions is "1" (power flows to the
coil). If power flows to the coil (RLO is "1"), the coil). If the RLO is "1" the specified <address>

Filling and Draining Control Operation

▪ When the PB1 is pressed, MV1 opens and the water

begins to fill the tank, at the same time, the stirring
motor M starts operations.
▪ When the water level passes TLB2 and reaches
TLB1, the MV1 closes and the stirring motor stops.
▪ Next, MV2 opens and starts draining the water.
When the water level drops below TLB2, MV2
closes, and the operation END indicator light FL
will Flash as it will be ON for 2 sec and OFF for 1
sec until PB3 pressed.
▪ At any time, the PB2 can stop the Operation.

▪ Picture 2: A yellow light means slow down and be ready
to stop.
▪ Picture 3: A red light means stop.
