    Project Name: SMART Kabataan: Kamalayan sa Social Media para sa Responsableng mga

    Teenager
    Introduction:

    SMART Kabataan is a project dedicated to empowering teenagers with the knowledge and skills to navigate social
    media responsibly. In a digital age where social media plays a significant role in the lives of young individuals, it is
    crucial to educate them on the proper usage and implications of their online presence. By providing awareness and
    guidance, SMART Kabataan aims to equip teenagers with the tools to make informed decisions and promote positive
    digital citizenship.

    Mission:

    Our main mission is to educate and empower teenagers to use social media responsibly, fostering a culture of
    digital literacy and ethical online behavior. Through interactive and educational resources, we strive to instill critical
    thinking and responsible digital practices in the youth, ensuring they engage with social media in a safe and mindful
    manner.

    Vision: to

    To create a generation of teenagers who are well-informed, responsible, and ethical users of social media,
    contributing positively to the online community and utilizing digital platforms as tools for self-expression, learning,
    and connection. SMART Kabataan envisions a future where teenagers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to
    navigate the digital landscape confidently and responsibly, shaping a safer and more inclusive online environment for
    all.

    Purpose

    The purpose of SMART Kabataan is to empower and educate the youth by offering opportunities for personal and
    professional growth. Through various programs focused on education, technology, entrepreneurship, and community
    development, SMART Kabataan aims to enhance the skills and talents of young individuals. The organization seeks to
    equip the youth with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to excel in the digital era and make positive
    contributions to society. SMART Kabataan promotes leadership, innovation, and social responsibility among the
    youth, encouraging them to be catalysts for positive change in their communities.

    Description

    The SMART Kabataan project will be conducted in Barangay Catmonon, Esperanza, Agusan Del Sur, starting from May
    19 to June 16, 2024. The program will involve symposiums held every Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM ( 2hrs. Every purok),
    gathering 80 participants from the 8 purok in Barangay Catmonon. Attendees especially the teenager will receive
    snacks, drinks, and school supplies like notebooks, art materials, and ball pens and other. These project aims to
    engage both teenagers and parents in educational sessions and provide essential resources for their development.

    Our program budget is P30,000 for all purok includes school supply, foods and drinks, guest speakers, and etc.
    SMART Kabataan will collaborate with local businesses and organizations dedicated to promoting positive youth
    development initiatives. Through partnerships with these stakeholders, the project aims to reach a broader audience
    of teenagers and provide them with valuable knowledge.
