Crochet the toy in spirals.
Mark the beginning of each new row using a marker or strand of yarn in contrast color.
You can crochet a white tiger or lion if you change the colors and do not crochet the stripes.
For a lion, I crochet the ears following the pattern but in one row fewer.
Crochet the outer part (make 2) with red color yarn similar to the inner part but
do not break yarn.
Put the outer and inner parts together with the wrong side inward
and crochet 18 sc through both loops in a circle.
Do not stuff the ears.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Muzzle.
1. Chain 4, start working in the 2nd chain from hook 2 sc, crochet 3 sc in the
first chain foundation, and continue crocheting on the other side of the chain
1 sc, inc. In total, there are 8 sc. See the chart.
Put a marker to indicate the beginning of the row and continue crocheting.
Head.
Do not stuff the head with fiberfill. Put it on the side. We will use it when assembling.
Tail
Legs (make 2)
Stuff the head with fiberfill gently to make sewing the muzzle and installing the eyes more comfortable.
Sew the muzzle between rows 7 and 13, stuffing with fiberfill as you crochet.
Embroider the nose by making two stitches under the bridge of the nose using pink thread.
Embroider the border of the nose using dark gray or black yarn.
Insert the needle from the inside of the head and draw it out in the center under the nose.
Make one stitch in the corner of the nose and draw the needle to the other corner of the nose.
Make one stitch in the center under the nose and draw it out from the inside of the head. Tie the tails into a knot.
Make one stitch across the muzzle.
Insert the needle from the inside of the head and draw it out in the center under the nose.
Insert the needle in four rows lower (in the middle) and draw out from the inside of the head.
Tie a knot, break yarn and hide the tail.
Embroider the eyelids by one stitch using dark gray and brown color yarn.
Sew the head to the body. Embroider the claws and stripes with stitches.
You can embroider the claws using the same plush yarn, or you can use 2-ply cotton yarn as I did for the lion.
Visually divide the tips of the paws into three parts and embroider three stitches in each part.
Embroider the stripes on the body randomly. I use a new strand of yarn for each part of the body.
Out tiger is finished!!!
Also, by changing the color of the toy, you can tie a white tiger or lion.
