Call Letter for Written Test/Interview for M.Tech (through CFTI Mode of Entry) - Admissions 2024
With reference to your application for admission to Course Programme (M Tech - CFTI) at the Institute, you are
shortlisted for the following programme(s) (refer table placed below) for written test/ interview (as applicable). Please
note that all updates related to admission process will be made available on the Institute's Admissions Website and
Applicant's Interface on admission portal. You are requested to login and check frequently to get any updates.

1. Accommodation facilities will not be provided for the interview/written test. Please make your own arrangements for
your stay in Bengaluru.
2. Participation in written test/ interview (as applicable) is mandatory to be eligible for further selection process.
Candidates are advised to go through the admission advertisement hosted on IISc website to be familiar with
selection procedure for M.Tech. programmes.
3. Candidates who have been selected for written test for Artificial Intelligence must follow the communication
pertaining to written test, which will be communicated separately. The venue for the written exam will be at the
Department of Electrical Engineering. The duration of the written test will be 1.5 hrs.
4. Please adhere to the date(s) and time allotted for your interview/ written test. You may report at least 15 mins
before the scheduled time at the concerned department for the interview/ written test (as applicable). It may
be noted that no requests for change of interview/written test date/time will be entertained by the Admissions Unit.
5. You are strongly advised to visit the individual department's website for additional information and details about
interview/ written test process. You must carry with you 2B pencil and eraser for writing the test. Feel free to reach

6. If applicants are shortlisted for admission by multiple departments/ disciplines, they will be made only a single offer
from the highest preference department that they have listed in the application form.
7. Please carry xerox copies of certificates, category certificate (if applicable), national qualifying exam score card
/certificate and mark statements from 10th Std on wards for verification corresponding with the entries in the
Application Form.
8. Carry a valid physical photo ID and a physical copy of the call letter sent to you by mail to be shown during the
written test/ interview. Please note that soft-copies will not be accepted.
