    PROCESS ENGINEER PERSON SPECIFICATION

    Purpose:
    Member and contributor to a multi-disciplinary team delivering, Engineering & Maintenance legislative compliance and
    improvements ensuring the safe, efficient availability and reliability of BP’s Sunbury Research facility and associated
    assets.

    Report to: Manager of Site Operations


    COMPETENCY ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE
    Qualifications & Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Professional accreditation with
    Accreditation Chemical Engineering an industry body.

    Chartered Engineer status.

    Skills, Knowledge & Working in & contributing to a 24/7 Broad experience of research
    Experience chemical, gas or energy process. scale equipment design and
    operation, up to pilot plant scale.
    Track record of technical excellence and
    project delivery at R&D scale, taking Data collection, analysis,
    responsibility for completion of assigned interpretation and reporting
    projects. against targets, business
    commercial and safety
    Experience in the review and approval of requirements.
    management of change processes
    Internal audit of standards and
    Knowledge, understanding and application procedures.
    of standards/legislation relating to process
    Development and contribution to
    equipment and system design.
    KPI’s, Annual Delivery Plan’s,
    Completing process design calculations Annual Maintenance Plans and
