Empowering Farm Education: Equipping Tabugon Farm School


Program Title
through Public-Private Partnership (City Savings Bank, Inc.)

Enhance student engagement and participation in farm activities


Goal at Tabugon Farm School through the provision of essential farm tools,
materials, and equipment.
This project seeks to establish a public-private partnership with
City Savings Bank, Inc. to procure much-needed farm tools,
Description materials, and equipment for Tabugon Farm School. This initiative
aims to ensure that all students have access to the resources they
need to fully participate in various farm activities.

Rationale This project proposes the procurement of various farm tools,
materials, and equipment to significantly enhance the learning
experience and productivity of Tabugon Farm School. Here's a
breakdown of the items and their rationale:
Essential Hand Tools :
 Spading Forks:These are crucial for efficient soil preparation,
turning compost, and general garden maintenance.
 Cane Knives: Used for harvesting a variety of crops and
clearing vegetation, ensuring efficient farm operations.
 Garden Trowels: These are essential for planting seeds,
transplanting seedlings, and performing delicate tasks in the
garden plots.

Improved Efficiency and Productivity (Items:


 Knapsack Sprayers : These allow for efficient and targeted
application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers across the
farm, promoting healthy plant growth.
 Wheelbarrows: Facilitate the effortless transportation of soil,
compost, and other heavy materials around the farm,
increasing overall efficiency.
 4L Water Sprinklers: Provide a convenient and controlled
method for watering plants, ensuring optimal hydration, and
promoting healthy growth.
 200L Plastic Drums: These versatile containers will be used
for water storage, irrigation purposes, and potentially for

Enhanced Learning and Diverse Crop Cultivation:
 4-Stroke Grasscutter: Enables proper maintenance of
pathways, firebreaks, and borders, promoting a clean and
organized learning environment.
 Assorted Vegetable Seeds: Introduce students to a wider
variety of vegetables, fostering a deeper understanding of
different crop types and cultivation methods.
By procuring these tools, materials, and equipment, Tabugon
Farm School can create a well-equipped learning environment that
fosters student engagement, improves farm efficiency, and promotes a
more diverse and productive agricultural program.

 Increased student enrollment and retention: A well-equipped


and engaging farm program could attract more students to
Tabugon Farm School and encourage them to stay enrolled.
 Improved student interest and motivation in agriculture: By
providing students with the tools, they need to succeed in farm
activities, the project can cultivate a stronger interest in
agriculture as a career path.
 Enhanced curriculum delivery and practical skills
development: The availability of proper tools and equipment
