stone slab 18 mm thick Single Piece For doors and Windows Cill and
Jambs Cladding as per design including Full moulded Round front edge
and 1 cm nosing and laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement
: 6 coarse sand) and jointed with gray cement slurry including rubbing
and polishing etc. complete.
• Polished or honed Granite tiles are calibrated & gauged with a tolerance of
+/- 0.5mm. The sides are sawn to perfect right angle and top edges are micro
beveled
• Granite being natural stone, variation to shade & pigmentation with in a
batch is a natural occurrence and accepted by the industry as normal. This
variation adds unique beauty to the finished surface
• It is recommended to consider 5% to 10% additional material to the coverage
area depending on the style of installation to allow for wastage due to cutting
of tiles to fill corners and defects in natural stone tile
• Granite tiles can be but joined or grout joined to suit installation style. It is
recommended to make a dry run to match flow of pattern to avoid cross
setting.
• Please review typical installation photos to get a better understanding of the
finished floor.
• Polished or Honed Granite tiles are not recommended for outdoor flooring.
Moist/wet flooring can be highly slippery. Flamed or bush hammered finish is
recommended for outdoor flooring.
• Water based penetrating sealer is recommended to protect from staining.
Please follow manufacturer’s instruction for application.
• Water based penetrating sealer/enhancer is recommended for deeper &
vibrant coloration of the finished floor. It is recommended to do a test on a
small hidden area or some waste tiles before applying to entire floor.

Item No.55 Abacus as a Built Element : Making Abacus for Classroom as per
approved drawing and design make with wood or metal material etc.
complete..
Around the world, abacuses have been used in pre-schools and
elementary schools as an aid in teaching the numeral system and arithmetic.
The wireframe may be used either with positional notation like other
abacuses (thus the 10-wire version may represent numbers up to 9,999,999,999),
or each bead may represent one unit (e.g. 74 can be represented by shifting all
beads on 7 wires and 4 beads on the 8th wire, so numbers up to 100 may be
represented). In the bead frame shown, the gap between the 5th and 6th wire,
corresponding to the color change between the 5th and the 6th bead on each
wire, suggests the latter use. Teaching multiplication, e.g. 6 times 7, may be
represented by shifting 7 beads on 6 wires.

road surface shall be set out true to lines, curves, slopes, grades and
sections as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer.
3. Box cutting shall be carried out in conformity with the directions laid here
in under and in a manner approved by the Engineer. The work shall be so
done that the suitable materials available from box cutting/ excavation are
satisfactorily utilized as directed.
4. The contractor shall not excavate outside the limits of box cutting. Subject
to the permitted tolerances, any excess depth/ width excavated beyond the
specified levels/ dimensions on the drawings shall be made good at the
cost of the contractor with suitable material of characteristics similar to
that removed and compacted as directed.
5. Cutting shall be done in proper grade & camber as per measurements
given. Care must be taken that all slopes are evenly and truly dressed.
Cutting shall be done to the exact depth required and shall be as per
formation level in proper grade and the camber. If extra depth of cutting is
done due to negligence of contractor the same shall be refilled with
approved quality of materials duly consolidated to the satisfaction of the
Engineer-in-charge (without extra cost).
6. The bottom level of box cutting i.e. sub grade shall be watered and well
compacted with vibratory roller at OMC to the desired density as directed
by the Engineer in charge. Rolling and compaction shall be deemed to be
incidental to the work and no extra cost shall be paid for compaction of
box cutting base surface.
7. The stuff received from the cutting shall be used for filling and correcting
side slopes of bank and earthwork for embankment as directed by the
Engineer in charge with all lead and lift.
8. The measurement of box cutting shall be taken on level basis & level shall
be taken at 30 mt. interval. Volume shall be computed in cubic meters by
average area method.
9. The payment shall be made on Cmt. basis.
10. The rate includes cost of all labour, machineries required, cost of carting
and spreading the cutting stuff with all lead and lift and leveling the
dumping ground/ embankment, rolling and consolidation of subgrade
level etc. complete.

exceed 5.
The Wet Aggregate Impact Value (IS:5640) shall not exceed 50.
Where locally available Murrum are used in the Granular Sub base, it
shall be ensured through adequate tests on representative samples, that all the
requirements set out in this Clause are satisfied.
* In case the sub-base material of the requisite soaked CBR value is not available
within economical leads, the sub-base material meeting any of the prescribed
grading and other requirements with a soaked CBR value of not less than 15 can
be permitted with the approval of the competent authority.
Manual mixing shall be permitted only where the width of laying is not
adequate for mechanical operations, as in small-sized jobs. The equipment
used for mix-in-place construction shall be a tractor-towed rotavator or similar
approved equipment capable of mixing the material to the desired degree. If so
desired by the Engineer, trial runs with the equipment shall be carried out to
establish its suitability for the work.
Each pass of the roller shall uniformly overlap not less than one-third
of the track made in the preceding pass. During rolling, the grade and cross
fall (camber) shall be checked, with the help of templates and straight edge,
and any high spots or depressions, which become apparent, corrected by
removing or adding fresh material. The speed of the roller shall not exceed 5
km per hour.
Rolling shall be continued till the density achieved is at least 100 per
cent of the maximum dry density for the material determined as per IS:2720
(Part 7). The surface of any layer of material on completion of compaction
shall be well closed, free from movement under compaction equipment and
from compaction planes, ridges, cracks or loose material. All loose, segregated
or otherwise defective areas shall be made good to the full thickness of layer
