ABSTRACT

Sports engagement is a bond between an individual and sport-related

activities that is marked by positive cognition, attitudes, and emotion bringing

about a feeling of immersion. Nowadays, some of the teenagers were not

currently enrolled in formal education. Some of them are identified out-of-school

youth were males, aged 20 years old, and Ilocanos at Lamabayong, Sultan

Kudarat.

The research study looked at the factual evidence to determine the effect

of sports engagement on out-of-school youth. The basic research design of this

study was descriptive quantitative which the researchers used numerical data

and verbal description upon conducting this research study.

The researchers used the survey questionnaire as a tool in gathering data

and results. The purpose of this study was to know more about the effect of

sports engagement on out-of-school youth at the said municipality.
