GROUP 6 – IMMUNITY

Immunity is a human body's response to protect itself from harmful invaders


like pathogens, viruses, and bacteria. It's like having a soldier inside your body that
defends you from getting sick. When these invaders try to attack, your body's
defense system fights back by engulfing them, launching a counterattack to keep
you healthy.

This response involves a series of actions by specialized cells and proteins


that work together to identify, neutralize, and eliminate the threat. Think of it as
your body's way of fighting off enemies to maintain its well-being.

What's amazing is that your immune system can adapt and learn from past
encounters like what we've experienced before such as chicken pox, becoming
more efficient at recognizing and defeating invaders over time. Immunity is truly a
remarkable defense mechanism that plays a crucial role in protecting our health
from these microbial enemies.
