    I. PURPOSE:
    This SOP gives the guide line for Operation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).

    II. SCOPE:
    This Procedure is followed for Operation Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at
    Balaji Amines Limited Unit-III.

    III. RESPONSIBILITY:
    It is responsibility of Utility Supervisor& Field Operator to follow the procedure.

    TITLE: Operation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

    VII. DETAILS:

    1. Operating Procedure of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP):

    1.1 Transfer the Raw Sewage from Septic tank-1 and Septic tank-2 by Pump P-707 to Aeration
    Tank.
    1.2 Then provide continuous air by blower (No- 709) for agitation to avoid settling of
    suspended solids in Aeration tank.
    1.3 Allow to overflow to the Tube Settler for degrading the organic pollutants grown over tube
    settler media.
    1.4 Allow to transfer the treated water to Filter Feed Tank.
    1.5 Then start the dosing of the Poly Aluminum Chloride solution & rectifier for removing the
    harmful bacteria & organics in the treated water.
    1.6 Then transfer this treated water through Pressure Sand Filter & Activated Carbon Filter.
    1.7 Then transfer the final treated water from by Filter Pump P-708 A to the gardening.
