0 GENERAL REQUIREMENT
1.1 Furnish all labour, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required to
install complete and put in operation work of this Section as shown in the drawings
and in accordance with these specifications.
1.2 The Contractor shall follow manufacturer's directions and recommendations in the
application and installation of products and materials and shall observe all directions
for guarantees and warranties.
1.3 Contractor should include in his price all adjustments required any as per final
layouts for Laundry, Kitchen & Service areas.
The work of this section shall include, but not be limited to the following principal
items:-
a. Booster set, filters, softener, boilers, circulating pump & lifting pump.
h. Valves, traps, strainers, hangers and supports, flashing, sleeves and all
accessories required for complete piping systems.
j. Excavation and backfilling, concrete bases and all other builders work for
the works of this section.

3.0 RELATED WORK IN OTHER SECTIONS
5.1 The Contractor for the work of this Section shall do all excavation and backfilling
required to install his work both inside and outside. All excavation and backfilling
shall be in accordance with that specified under section "EXCAVATOR" in the
General Specifications. Excavations shall be of proper depth and width to install the
required piping and / or equipment.
5.2 Piping outside of the building shall be buried to a depth above the top of the pipe of
not less than 2'-6" below finish grade unless otherwise noted on the drawings. Do not
backfill until after final inspection and approval of pipe work.
5.3 All piping laid in backfill shall be adequately supported by grade beams and caissons
to prevent any settlement or distortion of piping & encased by concrete layer of
minimum 6 inches around the pipes.
Under no circumstances shall pipes and conduits be run through footings. They shall
cross below Ground Beams, through sleeves through Ground Beams by the
governing codes, but in no case closer than twenty-four (24) inches to the face of the
footing and not below a plane having a downward slope of two (2) horizontal to
one(1) vertical, from a line nine (9) inches above the bottom of the footing.
7.1 All concrete anchor blocks, thrust blocks, and utility piping support beams and
caissons shall be provided under the work of this Section. All other concrete work
including inertia bases, equipment bases and housekeeping pads will be provided by
the " CONCRETE" Section of the General Specifications.

7.2 The Contractor of the work of this Section shall furnish all required dimensioned
drawings for equipment bases and pads and locations thereof, and shall furnish and
install anchor bolts for equipment.
7.3 Concrete provided under the work of this Section shall be K - 250 concrete,
proportioned and mixed as specified in the General Specifications.
8.1 The Contractor for the work of this Section shall co-operate with all trades in
providing information as to openings required in building construction of his work.
8.2 All drilling, cutting and patching of the general construction work, rough finish and
trim, required for installation of work being done by Sections of this Division, shall
be performed by the respective trades covered under other Divisions of the
Specifications.
8.3 Holes in any structural beam are prohibited without written consent of the Engineer.
Holes through already poured and existing concrete floors and walls shall be by core
drilling only. This Contractor shall prepare a dimensioned drawing showing the exact
locations, of all proposed holes through concrete slabs and submit the drawing to The
Engineer for approval as a shop drawing. The drawing shall show all holes in relation
to the existing beams.
10.1 Contractor may bid on equal makes of materials and equipment in addition to the
specified items where permitted by the phrase "or approved equal" To obtain
consideration however each item shall be listed and attached to the bid proposal as a
proposed alternate, together with documentary proof of equality, and the difference in
cost, if any, shall be stated.
10.2 Substitutions will not be considered after the execution of the contract unless the
specified item cannot be delivered to the job in time to complete the work in proper
sequence due to conditions beyond the control of the Contractor.
11.1 The Tender Drawings shall serve as design drawings for the general layout of the
various items of equipment. However, layout of equipment, accessories, and piping
systems are diagrammatic unless specifically dimensioned and detailed, dimensioned
shop drawings for the installation of the work shall be prepared and submitted for

approval. These shop drawings shall be new drawings prepared by the Contractor
and shall not be reproductions of tracings of the consultant's drawings. In preparing
shop drawings, establish lines and levels for the work specified and check project
drawings to avoid interference's with structural features and the work of other trades.
Notify the Engineer in writing of any interference's found.
11.2 Shop drawings shall include floor, site and riser layouts drawing to a minimum scale
of 1:50 and equipment's layouts Sections & Elevations to a minimum scale of 1:20
showing all piping installed under this section. Layout shop drawing shall be given a
drawing number which shall be retained throughout all revisions.
12.1 The Contractor shall, as the work progresses, keep a complete and accurate record of
all approved deviations from contract drawings, shop drawings and specifications,
indicating the work as actually installed. The record shall be neatly and correctly
entered, supplemented by notes, on a print of drawing affected. The Engineer shall
keep the prints at job site for inspection as the work progresses and shall be turned
over to the Engineer at the completion of the project. Prepare and supply four sets of
as built drawings with schedule of all equipment.
13.1 Cold & Hot water pipes exposed on roof, tanker filler & city main are to be
Polybutylene or PP-R3

a) General
Supply and install Polybutylene pipes ,fittings and valves for hot and
cold water piping from same manufacturer according to DIN 16968 and
DIN 16969.ALL polybutylene pipes, fittings and valves shall have
approvals/certificates from at least five international standards. All
Polybutylene valves shall be metric sizes manufactured by the same
manufacturer in accordance with EN ISO 15876 and fully compatible
with the piping. Valves should be suitable for connection with PB pipe
directly, or with adaptors to flanged or threaded connectors. All valves
should be should be PB, UPVC, CPVC, PP OR ABS and the metal
parts should be brass type DZR.

13.3 Water piping below grade shall be coated and wrapped with grease tape.
13.4 All pipes exposed to view shall be insulated with ¾ inch thick rigid fiber glass &
protected by three layer of Benjamin foster & water proofing paint to the color
accepted by Engineer.
14.1 Pipes for internal & external drainage below & above ground to be polyethylene high
density (HDPE) according to ISO R 161/1 with electrically welded joints & fittings
including all accessories as per manufacturer’s recommendation.
14.2 Pipes are running above false ceiling shall be HDPE silent type complete with
fittings, joints, adapters, brackets, supports, hangers, testing, and all other accessories
required.
14.3 All drain pipes for sewage & sump pump discharge should be UPVC according to
DIN16 bar pressure type.
14.4 All drain pipes embedded in columns & walls should be galvanized heavy duty
seamless according to BS 1387 class C.
15.1 General
c. All brass work and exposed piping, used in conjunction with fixtures shall be
chromium plated, unless otherwise specified.
e. Exposed supply connections to fixture supply stops, flush valves and exposed
waste connections from traps shall be made with chrome plated IPS brass
nipples, tubing sleeve covers are not acceptable.
f. All supplies shall have loose key stops except where otherwise indicated.
g. All fixture P-Traps shall be cast brass. All exposed traps shall be chrome
plated. Where concealed in cabinets below counters P-Traps may be rough
brass and waste connections shall be made with plain IPS brass nipples, except
where otherwise indicated.
16.0 DRAINS:
16.1 Types specified below shall be coordinated with architectural floor tile layout and
installed according to Engineer’s directions as shown in drawings. Where installed in
construction with waterproof membrane, drains and floor sinks shall be provided with
flashing clamp device with corrosion-resistant clamping bolts.
F.D. (Floor Drain): Cast iron drain and flashing ring with adjustable nickel bronze
heel-proof strainer with built in clean out as required on the drawings.
17.0 TRAPS
17.1 Soil and Waste: All drains and floor sinks connected to sanitary sewer system shall
have cast iron "P" traps with seal as required by local Code, and of weight
conforming to piping system in which installed.
7.2 Fixture traps shall be as specified under the particular fixture. Traps not specified
with fixture shall conform to local Code requirements.
18.0 CLEANOUTS
18.1 Cleanouts shall be installed where indicated and at all bends, angles, upper terminals
and where required by Code, all readily accessible. The Engineer before installation
shall approve location of cleanouts in finished portions of the building. Cleanouts
shall be of size as required by the local Plumbing Code.
19.0 VALVES

21.0 PROTECTIVE WRAPPING OF PIPES
A. Protect buried pipes with long wrap tape of a homogenous blend of petrolatum
and inert filler coated to both sides of an anti-bacterial polyester fabric carrier.
Minimum thickness of the tape is 1.15mm, weight 1.44 Kg. /sq.M and strength
100 Newton, and temperature range up to 700C.
22.1 Cast Iron Soil Pipe: Stainless steel clamp and neoprene gasket for above ground &
cast iron clamps and rubber gasket for underground.
22.3 Threaded Steel Pipe: Threads shall be cut with clean dies, full thickness of dies. After
jointing, not more than two threads shall remain exposed. Male threads of pipe only
shall have thread compound, applied smoothly. Fittings shall not be doped. After
inspections and final approval, the exposed threads shall be coated with red lead.
Each piece of pipe shall be carefully renamed prior to erection and carefully
inspected before installing. Joints shall be made up with graphite and oil or an
approved graphite compound.
22.4 Threaded Brass Pipe: Threads shall be cut same as for steel pipe. Application of
thread compound, same as for steel pipe, except as otherwise specified. Pipe shall be
made up with friction clamps and friction's wrenches.
22.5 Copper Tubing: Cut pipe square and remove all burrs. Thoroughly clean end of pipe
equal to depth of the fitting. Use sand cloth sandpaper or steel wool for cleaning
purposes. Liquid flux shall not be permitted. All tubing and fittings shall be
installed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Solder to be used shall be
tin-antimony 95-5. The contractor shall use the proper flux as recommended by the
solder manufacturer.
23.1 General: Unions or flanges shall be installed on both sides of all equipment and
apparatus and where required to facilitate easy removal of valves, traps, etc.
23.2 Unions: On all piping 2" and smaller, ground joint pattern.
23.3 Flange: On all piping 2-1/2" and larger and flanged pump connections.
e. All bolts and /or studs and nuts shall be in accordance with the requirements of
ASA-B16.5 for the specified flange with which used.
23.4 Gaskets for all services shall be of a compressed asbestos composition of 1/6"
thickness except 125 lb., steam which shall have stainless steel spiral inserts. Gaskets
material for all flanged connections shall be full faced or ring type to suit facing on
flanges.
23.5 Nipples: 3" or shorter in steel pipe lines shall be extra heavy.
24.1 Dielectric fittings shall be installed where piping of dissimilar metals is connected.
Where piping passes through floor slabs, the Contractor shall be responsible to verify
that the piping does not come in contact with reinforcing steel or other piping.
25.1 Sleeves:
25.1.1 Furnish and install sleeves for all pipes passing through slabs, concrete
beams and walls and lath and plaster partition and ceilings. Sleeves shall
extend 1-1/2" above floors and be flush with walls, ceilings and partitions.
The Contractor shall be responsible for setting each sleeve at the exact
location and elevation required, and at the correct angle to confirm to the
grade of the piping.
25.1.2 Joints, girders, beam, columns or reinforcing steel shall not be cut or
weakened. Where construction necessitates the rout-framing or under
footing, written permission to make such installation shall first be obtained
from the Engineer.
25.1.3 Piping shall be located to clear steel reinforcing bars in walls. Reinforcing
bars in walls shall be offset to clear piping and sleeves.
25.1.4 Omit insulation in sleeves. Provide 1/2" clearance between sleeve and none
insulating piping, unless, otherwise specified. Where pipes pass through
outside walls below grade provide full 1" clearance between pipe and sleeve.

25.1.5 Sleeves set in firewalls shall be caulked between pipe and sleeve with
asbestos rope, and water tight caulking or sealing material.
25.2.1 In Slab Construction: Schedule 40 black steel pipe, with upper surface to be
sealed watertight.
25.2.2 In Concrete Walls: Schedule 40 black steel pipe. When installed in outside
walls seal outer surface watertight.
25.2.3 In Lath and Plaster Partitions and Ceilings: 24 gauge galvanized iron or
steel.
25.3 Escutcheons: Provide chrome plated brass or polished brass, as selected by Engineer,
hinged escutcheons on all exposed pipes passing through walls, floors, ceilings and
partitions in finished portions of the building. Escutcheons in equipment areas shall
be prime coated steel. On insulated piping escutcheons shall fit tightly to outside of
insulation and on bare pipe shall be firmly secured with set screws.
26.1 Swing joints and bends shall take care of expansion and contraction in the piping
system located inside the structure. Cast brass fitting, i.p.s., shall be used on copper
tubing lines at swing joints.
27.1 Horizontal Pipes: Hangers and supports shall be hung from adequate solid rods, the
lengths of which shall be adjustable. In lieu of individual hangers, trapeze hangers
may be used for parallel pipes. Hanger rods for both single and trapeze hangers shall
be hung from suitable clips, beam clamps or inserts, as necessary. For concrete
construction, inserts shall be set in forms before concrete is poured. Explosive type
fasteners or studs will not be permitted.
"Phillips" type shields may be used when authorized be Engineer. No piping shall be
supported by any strap, wire, rope, wood or other makeshift device. Types of
hangers shall be as specified below.
27.2 All piping except as otherwise specified: Adjustable split ring type hanger or
adjustable cleaves type hanger.
27.3 Where hanger supports are longer than 18" provide lateral bracing at every fourth
hanger or as directed.
27.5 Hanger Rods shall be solid mild steel in accordance with the following Schedule:

27.6 All Vertical Pipe Lines shall be supported, not hung, at each floor. Malleable iron or
steel pipe clamps of ample size, bolted around the pipes, shall be used for these pipe
supports.
27.7 Provide vibration dampers at domestic water main riser pipe supports at point of
contact with building structure.
27.8 Isolating Sleeves: Provide felt with metal backing, vibration isolation sleeves or pads
at all hangers and supports for all un-insulated water piping and for all bare pipes in
contact with hangers and supports fabricated of dis-similar materials. Isolating sleeve
shall completely encircle the pipe preventing any metal-to-metal contract between
pipe and hanger or support, and shall be designed to prevent any slippage of the
hanger.
27.9 Insulation Protection Shields: Hangers and supports shall fit outside of all pipes
insulation and insulation inserts. Provide galvanized steel protection shields
centrally located at all hangers and supports of insulated piping. Shields shall be 12"
long 14-gauge on piping 8" diameter and smaller, and 10-gauge on piping larger than
8" diameter. Shields shall cover one-half of the insulation or inserts to prevent any
direct contact of hanger or support. Insert sections shall be provided as specified
under section entitled "Insulation-Mechanical".
27.10 In lieu of the above insert sections with shields and hangers previously specified, The
Contractor may use Uni-Grip combination shielded-insert-hangers. The Uni-Grip
combination hanger shall be equal in all respects to the separate hangers, shields and
insert sections specified. Include detailed information with Submittal Data.
Provide on each pipe passing through the roof, a six lb., one-piece seamless lead
flashing assembly with 10" skirt and steel reinforced boot, complete with a caulk type
cast iron counter flashing sleeve and waterproof sealing compound. Vents shall
extend a minimum of 7 inches above the roof.
30.1 General: All concealed valves, controls, water hammer arrestors, wall cleanouts,
etc., shall be furnished under this Section and installation shall be the responsibility
of the General Contractor. Access opening shall be sufficiently large to permit
disassembly and complete removal of concealed equipment. Access doors are not
required in removable ceilings.
31.1 Thermometers: Red reading mercury thermometers in one piece brass or aluminum
case, 9" scale adjustable angle type. Thermometers shall be installed in approved
locations so that they may be easily read from floor level. All thermometers shall be
installed with separable sockets. Thermometers installed on insulated lines or
vessels shall be provided with an extension piece.
31.2 Pressure Gauges: Pressure and compound gauges shall be the Borden Tube Type,
corrosion-resistant movement of unlike metals, with recalibrating adjustment, 4 1/2"
dial with white face with black numerals, graduations and pointer, and black enamel
finish casing. All gauges shall be installed with a shutoff cock and snubber.
31.3 Safety Relief Valves: Safety valves, pressure relief valves, temperature relief valves,
and combination temperature and pressure relief valves shall be ASME rated and
shall be provided with a manual test lever. Relief valves shall be installed for
equipment and apparatus as specified and / or as shown on drawings and where
required by codes and regulations. Valves shall be properly sized for the system in
which installed. Discharge pipe shall be not less than one pipe size larger than inlet
pipe size of valve and shall terminate at nearest suitable floor sink or as shown on
drawings and shall be free of any traps.
31.4 Strainers: Strainers shall be installed on the upstream side of meters and make-up
connections, at the suction of all pumps, and where indicated on the drawings.
29.4.1 Strainers shall be Y-pattern, pressure rated for the intended service, cast iron
or steel body when installed on steel or wrought iron piping and bronze
bodies for copper or brass piping. Strainers shall have over size screen
body area, gaskets machined strainer caps and easily removable screens of
monel or stainless steel with standard perforations for the service in which

installed, except where otherwise specified. Strainers shall be flanged in
sizes 2 1/2" and over.
Install a water hammer arrestor on each hot and cold water header supplying a group
of fixtures and on the hot and cold water line to a single fixture that is not supplied
from a header, and elsewhere as indicated on the drawings. Arrestors shall be sized in
strict accordance with a Plumbing and Drainage Institute Standard PDI-WH 201.
Water hammer arrestors not installed in accessible places shall be provided with
access panels.
All plumbing fixtures and all other equipment having domestic water connection
shall be protected against all possible back-siphonage. On lavatories and sinks,
discharge outlets shall have clear overflow rim at least 1 inch. Toilet and urinal flush
valves shall be provided with approved vacuum breakers. Back flow preventers on
supply lines shall be the double check or reduced pressure type where indicated and
of size shown on the drawings.
Cast iron covers for manholes shall be heavy duty, round, single seal type with
closed keyholes or medium duty, square, double seal, recessed type with closed key
holes. They shall be of sound manufacture and free from projections or voids and
shall be treated with two coats of an approved tar compound (Inertol thick L or
equal).
Frames shall be double seal, square type according to the dimensions conforming in
general to the Kuwait Foundry. The covers shall be fixed on to the previously
installed frames after filling the seal grooves with a mixture of grease and sand.
B. Step irons shall be of galvanized cast iron conforming to BS 1247. The
weight of the step iron shall not be less than (3.2) lbs. and shall be (10) inch
long and (6) inch wide.
C. Two numbers prising and lifting bar of an approved design shall be supplied
by the Contractor for the Project.
A. Frame of manhole cover shall not be cast in together with roof slab of manhole.
B. Covers and frames shall be fixed in such a way as to match adjacent surface
levels with tolerances not exceeding + or - 3mm. Before the maintenance
period expires, check all manhole covers and readjust them if they are in excess
of above mentioned tolerances.
C. Fix all cast iron accessories to concrete manholes using cement and sand
mortar (1:3).

manufacturer's detailed instructions and typical drawings.
A. Delayed action, pilot operated float valves for core and roof level storage
tanks. Angle pattern iron body, stainless steel mounted diaphragm valves
with glanced ends, rated 250 psi., working water pressure, complete with
pilot assembly, type K copper capillary lines, mounting plate, plastic float
and operating rod, adjustable stops etc.
A. Pipe connections shall be of the size and at the location indicated on the
drawings.
B. Flanges shall meet the pipe standards and in accordance with the tank
manufacturer's recommendations.
A. Air vent shall be made of ABS material size 50mm dia. With insect screen and
to be supplied by the tank manufacturer.
Tank shall be fabricated from steel with dished heads and bottoms, and shall be
protected by an inside epoxy coating or GRP. The outside shall be painted with a rust
inhibiting primer.
The main piping and fittings shall not be smaller than the valves. Pipes shall be
galvanized mild steel and fittings galvanized malleable iron.
Mineral
Multiple layers of various media capable of filtering particles down to (10) microns
at rated flow. The filter media shall be of good quality, possessing characteristics of
durability, long life and resistance to attrition and shall not impart taste, odor or
colour to the water being treated.
Automatic Control
The operation cycle shall be accomplished by the opening and closing of a nest of
diaphragm valves.

A differential pressure setting device with adjustable cams shall program the
operation cycles of the filter.
A pilot controller activated by the differential pressure sensor controls the openings
and closing of the diaphragm valves according to the preset operation cycles.
The differential pressure sensor shall carry out the backwash before the pressure drop
reaches the maximum allowable value.

3. Pumps: Booster set with two (2) Nos., 40 gpm each both working as
shown in drawing.
5. System pipe work shall be type 'K' copper with brazed joints. Manifold
ends shall be flanged.
6. Valves: All bronze gate valves at suction and discharge of each Pump
and bronze wafer type self closing (non-slam) check valve at discharge of
each pump.

7. Relief Valves: Provide suitable bypass pressure relief valve from
discharge to suction manifolds to prevent pump operation at shutoff head.
8. Accessories: Compound gauge at suction manifold and pressure gauge at
discharge manifold, flexible connections at suction and discharge
connections.
10. Finishing: The assembly shall be given two coats of primer and one coat
of gloss enamel at the factory.

1. Type: In-line centrifugal type of 2990 rpm speed, twin units. Materials
of construction shall be as follows:

with two (2) inch polyurethane foam or high density fiberglass, enclosed
in sheet metal jacketing.

10. Approved manufacturer's are :-
38.1 Piping shall be promptly installed after excavation or cutting for same has been done
to keep all excavations for this work open as short a time as possible. No piping,
however, shall be permanently closed up, furred in, or covered over before it has
been tested and inspected and approved by the Engineer.
38.2 All pipe and fittings shall be carefully cleaned and all internal scale, sand, dirt and
other debris removed before installation. All water piping shall be water flushed
clean of all lose scale, dirt and foreign material before installation and the flushing
operation shall be repeated after it has been assembled and prior to being
hydrostatically tested.
38.3 Horizontal, sanitary, and drain piping shall be installed to a uniform grade of not less
than 3/4" per foot, unless otherwise directed. Vent piping shall be installed to
provide proper ventilation of the plumbing and graded to provide drainage of
condensate.
38.4 Opening in pipes, drains fittings, apparatus and equipment shall be kept covered or
plugged to prevent accumulating obstructions in the piping.
38.5 Water piping shall be run free of traps, sags, and bends, and graded and valued to
provide for the complete drainage and control of the system.
38.6 Piping shall be arranged to maintain head room and keep passageways clear, and
where necessary shall be offset to maintain the required clearances and conform to
structural features of building. All piping shall be run parallel and straight with
adjacent walls or ceilings and shall present a uniform appearance.
38.7 Rough outlets for all fixtures and equipment shall be set exactly to the measurements
furnished by the manufacturer of the fixtures, or equipment. Fixtures set in batteries
shall have their rough outlets set in straight lines at equal spacing.
38.8 All runs of piping shall be made of full length sections of pipe or lengths cut to fit.
Short lengths shall be used at the ends and not at the middle of the run. All offsets
shall be made with fittings, and pipes shall not be decreased from those shown on the
drawings.
38.9 All joints shall be made tight without any packing, and if any leaks develop, the
defective part must be remade with new materials. Street elbows, bushings, close

nipples, long screws, bulkhead tees or crosses shall not be used. All exposed
polished connections shall be made up with special care, showing no tool marks.
38.11 Underground piping shall be laid with uniform bearing with excavations to receive
bell and coupling ends. Where the trench is excavated below the required grade, it
shall be refilled with sand and compacted to include the lower half of the pipe. Prior
to back filling, lines shall be visually inspected for grade, alignment and jointing.
Any pipe which is improperly jointed, not in true alignment, or shows any undue
settlement after laying, shall be taken up and repaid at the Contractor's expense. All
piping laid in backfill shall be adequately supported by grade beams, including
required caissons or other approved supports to prevent any settlement or distortion
of piping. Backfilling shall be with good quality sand compacted on both sides of
pipe in 6" layers to a depth of one foot over top of pipe. The remainder of the
excavation shall be backfilled in compacted one-foot layers using selected native soil.
Each layer shall be compacted to 90% by tamping. Watering down of backfill will
not be permitted.
38.12 Provide all sheeting and bracing for trenches and excavations to afford adequate
protection for the work and maximum safety for personal.
38.13 All hot and cold piping shall be separated by at least six inches and every precaution
taken to see that pipes do not come into contact. Ample space shall be provided
between piping for the proper thickness of insulation.
38.14 Expansion and contraction in piping systems shall be taken care of where necessary
by expansion joints, spring pieces, or swing joints. Cast bronze screwed fittings shall
be used on brass pipe and copper tubing lines at swing joints.
39.0 PAINTING
39.1 All Finish Painting will be provided under "PAINTER" Section of the General
Specifications, except as otherwise specified.
39.2 Apparatus and equipment furnished under this Section shall be provided with a shop
coat at the factory unless otherwise specified.
a. All motors, etc., with factory enamel finish shall be carefully cleaned oiled and
rubbed down before final acceptance.
b. All uncoated cast iron or steel cradles, etc., that will be concealed, or will not
be accessible when installations are completed, shall be painted with a black
asphalt paint.
c. All piping and supports with black iron finish shall be painted with a black
asphalt paint where installed between grade and the underside of a floor, in
trenches or tunnels.
d. All factory finished equipment that becomes marred or scratched shall be
touched up or repainted as directed.
