A Guide to Using the

myInterview Video
Platform
Introduction
Hello and welcome to myInterview, your gateway
to showcasing your skills and personality through
video interviews. In this tutorial, we will walk you
through the steps to ensure you have a seamless
experience.

We highly recommend that you practice


conducting 1-way interviews using the Practice
feature. This will allow you to hear how you sound,
confirm that you have enough lighting and that
your background is professional.

myInterview is compatible with smartphones,


tablets and laptops.

1. Accessing myInterview Video Platform

a. To begin your interview, you need to access


the video platform. Click on the interview
invitation button or the hyperlink in your
email to access the platform.

b. You'll be redirected to another tab that will open


to the myInterview video platform. Click “LET’S
START” to initiate logistics check.
c. To allow myInterview to access your
microphone and camera, click on the padlock to
reset your permission settings.

d. Select the Camera and Microphone that you


prefer using if you have multiple connected to
your gadget by clicking on the menu dots.
2. Conducting a Practice Run
a. Proceed with the Practice mode by clicking
‘START RECORDING’ button. There are only 2
questions to practice with.
b. Notice the count down on the left side of your
screen, this is a countdown for your thinking
time.
c. When thinking time is up, your video will start
recording and the response time will be right
above your recording screen.

You will transition from Practice mode to the Main


recording session by clicking on the hyperlink, “I’m
ready, proceed to start.”
3. Recording Your Answers
It is important that you have your Camera on during Each question has 2 takes, this is to allow you to

submission will be indicated by the “Thank you for your interview” message on your screen.
