A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROGRAMMING OF THE 5% BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND
MANAGEMENT FUND (BDRRMF) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2023 AND THE SPECIAL TRUST FUND OF
BARANGAY CARMEN, BAGUIO DISTRICT, DAVAO CITY AS INCORPORATED IN THE BARANGAY DISASTER
RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FUND INVESTMENT PLAN (BDRRMF IP) FOR CY 2023

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10121, An act strengthening the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management System, providing for the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Framework and
institutionalizing the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan, appropriating funds therefor and for
other purposes;

WHEREAS, Section 12 (c-7) of Republic Act 10121 provides the function of the Local Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Office to prepare and submit to the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Council the Annual LDRRM Plan and budget, the proposed programming of the LDRRMF, other dedicated disaster
risk reduction and management resources, and other funding source/s and budgetary support of the
LDRRMO/LDRRMC;

WHEREAS, various programs and projects under the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund
Annual Investment Plan (LDRRMFIP) for CY 2022 are extracted from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Plan (DRRMP) 2020-2025 and funded according to the approved programming of this Resolution;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan (BDRRMF IP)
for the Calendar Year 2022 has the following sources of funds broken down as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad JULIETO ANGCO and duly seconded by all members present
be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to approve the Programming of Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Fund (BDRRMF) for the Calendar Year 2022 and the Special Trust Fund of Barangay Carmen, Baguio
District, Davao City.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the City Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Office, the City Budget Office, the City Accountant’s Office, the Department of the
Interior and Local Government, the Commission on Audit, and all other concerned offices and departments for their
information, guidance and appropriate action.

INVESTMENT PLAN (BDRRMF IP) FOR CY 2023 OF BARANGAY CARMEN, BAGUIO DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, the BDRRMC has prepared the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee Activity Plan and
Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund Investment Plan (BDRRMF IP) CY 2023;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee Activity and BDRRMF Investment Plan CY 2023
are found to be in line with the development policies and priorities of the Barangay, Government and the City Development Council;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion Kagawad Jean S Delina and duly seconded by all members of the Barangay Development
Council present, it was;
RESOLVED as it hereby resolved, to pass a resolution for the adoption and approval of the Programming of Barangay
Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund (BDRRMF) and Special Trust Fund (STF) of Barangay Carmen, Baguio District, Davao
City for CY 2023.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to the offices of Davao City Risk Reduction Management
Council (DCDRRMC), Department of the Interior and Local Government, Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) and City Planning Office.

WHEREAS, there is an estimated amount of TWO HUNDRED ELEVEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE PESOS
AND 60/100 (Php 211,355.60) as 5% of Estimated Income from regular Source CY 2023;

WHEREAS, there is an estimated amount of ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED ELEVEN
PESOS (Php 177,111,00 ) as Special Trust Fund for this year from the unimplemented activities and unexpended amount in the cy
2021.

WHEREAS, this amount will be used to fund the DRRM activities, programs and equipment’s;

THEREFORE, after careful deliberation on motion of Kagawad Jean S. Delina and duly seconded by all the members of the
Sangguniang Barangay, it was;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the appropriation 5% local DRRM fund CY 2023 and the Special
Trust Fund of Barangay Carmen, Baguio District Davao City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the government agencies concerned.
