List the learning I attended the NS201 classes this week. As part of my weekly independent learning I have read (Coombs, Curtis and Crookes, 2011) and
(Norman and Ryrie, 2009). I have reviewed the loop materials over the weekend to understand them better, specifically The Activities of Living
activities you Model for nurisng and The Tidal model. This took me about 7 - 8 hours combined.
engaged in this I am in the Wednesday turotial group. In the first week we partnered up and interviewed each other on ourselves in general. Then at the end, each
person had to describe what the other had told them to the class. This was nerve wrecking. This made me understand that a nurse should give
complete undivided attention when the service user is talking and also have good memory to remember what was said to note down later.

List the learning I have started reading (Videbeck, 2011) for preparation of my clinical placement next week. We held two study groups
this week, one on Wednesday for an hour and one on Friday for an hour. Our discussions included mainly placement
