mental health literacy. In

Study 1, we used a wait-list

control design to randomly

assign organizational leaders

(N = 43) to a training or

control group. Leaders who

received the training reported

enhanced knowledge of, and

attitudes toward, mental

health, as well as increased

self-efficacy and intent to

promote mental health at

work. In Study 2, these

effects were replicated based

on a sample of 142 leaders

from another organization.

Further analysis suggested

that training had a direct

effect on knowledge and self-

efficacy, but indirect effects

on attitudes and intentions.

Analysis of organizational

data suggests that the

program resulted in a

reduction in the duration of

short-term disability claims.

Results support the

Methods : The sample

consisted of 55 schools

which participated in the

cooperative model. Two

questionnaires were used :

one was composed of items

about mental health

resources, school policy and

practice, school climate and

community referral, and the

other was on management of

follow-up conditions for high

risk students. Results : First,

teachers' awareness

regarding school mental

health resources, school

climate, and community

referral showed positive

change. That is, the 2013

Second, students, who were

found by screening test and

observation, were managed

continually. Most students

received follow-up

interventions at school, and

half of the students were

referred to a specialized

institution such as a mental

health clinic, Wee center,

personal counseling center,

community welfare center,

and so on. Conclusion : This

study was a preliminary

research, therefore follow-up

studies are required in order

basic data for better health.

Methods: The study used

data obtained through the

2007 online research on

adolescents' health behaviors,

targeting a total of 35,228

high school students (18,628

of male students and 16,600

of female students). Results:

Seventy six point ninety six

percent of the male

respondents and 79.67% of

female respondents answered

12

their sleep quality was not

satisfactory. The subjects

who had stress showed

significantly lower quality of

sleep than those who

answered they had no stress.

For female students, those

who answered they had

intention to suicide had

significantly lower quality of

sleep than those who

answered they did not have,

but for male students, there

was no significant relations

between them. There were no

significant relations between

sense of despair and sleep

quality both for male and

female subjects. Conclusion:

Factors of mental health

related with sleep quality

were stress and intention of

suicide. The more they had

13

stress and intention of

suicide, the significantly

lower sleep quality was.

Therefore, in order to

improve sleep quality of high

school students, it is

suggested that management

programs based on education

and counselling with experts

should be provided and

further studies on other

mental health factors and

sleep quality should be

conducted.
