Abstract
Education is the process where every individual learns the things according their ability and
interest because every child has their own unique quality like strength, personality, inner talent and
ability. For this unique quality we need to design the activity based curriculum for the students.
Syllabus is the important part in the process of child development and teaching-learning process. Child
development is the prime part of the education. When we look forward in this scenario, the level of
competition increasing day by day. For this purpose, we focusing the children’s curriculum and co-
curriculum activities inside and outside school and college also. Foremost requirement of the syllabus
is to reduce in essential part according to subject and make wide space for critical thinking in subject
content of pedagogy, make sure the curriculum should be holistic discovery based and discussion
based. These curriculum parameter and aspect fulfil only one word that is holistic development.
Holistic development is the overall development of child that means social, emotional, physical,
mental and intellectual growth of the person. Holistic development in education means focussing on
the child overall growth in various manner/aspects. Holistic development promotes self -confidence,
self-awareness and increasing good sense of responsibility in each and every work. Holistic
development process will help to develop the strong critical thinking abilities and problem-solving
attitude among students.
Holistic development is the extensive approach in teach which objective rich the goal for
developing multiple abilities in human mind. It is the development of physical, emotional, intellectual,
social development of students and promotes the learning style with higher order skill improvement.
Holistic development is the combination of enhancing education model of empowering students’
performance and teacher strategies in different area. Its benefits helpful to increase the standard of
education and these standards will strengthen the nation building process of achievement.
Introduction
The holistic approach to education develops a learner’s social and academic maturity to accept
life’s challenges, build their understanding, and learn from their errors (Sarkar, 2022).Holistic
education prepares a student for lifelong learning. The educational focus moves toward the life
skills,attitudes,and personal awareness the student will need in an increasingly complex world (Sarkar,
2022).The holistic approach to education develops social –emotional understanding and giving
opportunities for facing the challenges.NEP 2020 State that education should be focussed on practical
learning not on theoretical based. Quality education is the requirement of the society and there no any
gender bias caste, any other things are part for education. In NEP 20202, Holistic education is the fully
development of human personality in all perspective like Cognitive, emotional, social, intellectual,
spiritually).
NEP 2020 will transform this model through a flexible curriculum that creatively combines various
disciplines. Learner will be able to choose from language and also integrate Applied Science,
Mathematics, and Busmen Studies with humanities and arts (PBNS, 2022).NEP 2020 has laid
transformative ideas to reshape education. Teachers are central to the success of our education system
(Macmilan, 2020).and this education system. Education is the source of learning where teacher is the
eminent factor for brainstorming the learner ability. When it will come to connect with the real
education pattern of practical cum theory based learning it gives lots of benefit to education system’

A holistic approach motivates and inspire student to learn the subject in theoretically as well
as practically. Holistic approach helpful for developing curiosity and allow to learn and understand the
concept to learn the subject in naturally, creatively and practically. It also developing their skills and
build their confidence to actively participating in school activities. Enhancing the quality of students
and they will find their way and connecting their bridge in between education in real world facts. Their
creative skills raise to help in solving their problem in various direction. Holistic approach gives
blessing to education and the process of development of mind, body and spirit.

Team Learning-It increase the self-confidence, leadership quality and it occurs when a person sharing
his/her knowledge and views in order to reach the destination of team work where an individual learn
with together for achieving the goal of team task. Best part of team learning is the strong coordination
and correlation between individuals. It shows hidden quality of the person while doing the team
learning.
Collaborative learning- In collaboration students play important role in large group or peer group.
As par plan activities that provides number of opportunities and problem-solving abilities for learn and
grow with collaboration of group it enhances the cognitive and affective domain ability of the
individual. Due to collaborative learning student enhance their higher order skill of learning and self -
esteem.
Inquiry Based Learning- This is a learning process where engage the students for exploration of
ideas, thought and smart level of questioning that directly connecting the real world. In this process
learning can encourage the students for raising the questions and participating in experiential learning.
Due to this student boost their curiosity towards problem solving process on any topic and increasing
the interest by involvement in inquiry-based learning.
Transforming Leaning
It is the tool to enhancing the results and outcomes of educational values also create the instructional
learning material. Improving the concept and traits of the learning.
Conclusion
We need to understand what children need to requires from education it not only academic
growth but also keep growing other than curriculum like extra co-curricular activities. Every parent’s
motive to send their children in school and college for need to learn some specialized things and
betterment of future and also grooming for holistic development(Social, Intellectual, Physical,
Emotional and Mental)
In all round development that means holistic development Education is the internal part for only
education system can change the behaviours and help students and help students to understand his/her
psychological pressure and teaching -learning process is only way to build up the healthy and powerful
environment to understand the relationship between positive and negative environment. Also build up
self-reliance and team spirit and true communication in education, educationist, policymaker and
stakeholder ensure that to curriculum is not only integrated with theory based but also with large no.
