Weekly lesson plan (July 8-July 19)


Topic: Desert animals & Activity Book
Topic: Adjectives and Degree of adjectives
Objectives:
- To know about desert animals.
- To know about adjectives and degree of adjectives.

Teaching process
- Teacher tells to the students to open their text-book and describe what they see from
the book.
- Then, teacher tells each student to read sentences and to underline the words that are
difficult for them.
- After that, teacher will explain the words and ask some of the questions concerning
with desert.
Teaching process (Adjectives)
- Teacher explains Adjectives is a describing word. She also needs to explains an
adjective often comes before the noun it describes.Eg.an old building, a tall basketball
player.
- After that, teacher explains degree of adjectives such as D1.D2,D3.
- D1 is only for simple adjectives.
- D2 is when compare two people or things, they can do comparative form of
adjectives. At that time, teacher needs to highlight lots of comparative adjectives end
in-er and often use than together.
Eg.A sports cat is faster than a motorbike.
- D3 is compare three or more people, animals or things, can use the superlative form
of the adjective and lots of superlatives end in est.
Eg.Peter is the tallest boy in the class.

Assessment (1)
- Student needs to find some of the information for desert animals by using google.This
is a group project.
-Next day,they can share to the whole class.
Assessment (2)
- Play a guessing game.They can say characteristics of an animal that they have read
about in lesson and guess which animal it is,Eg,It has four legs and it’s
tall.Answer:Camel
Assessment 3
- Divide two teams
- Teacher will divide two columns and teacher will tell sentences.
- So, they can decide D1,D2,D3 and they need to write the words in their respective
columns.
Materials:
learner’s book, Activity book. Project paper, Google
Topic: Friendship & Activity Book
Objectives:
- To know about opposite words.
- To apply for opposite words.

Teaching process
- Teacher asks the class to focus on the picture and to predict what the story is about.
- Then, teacher asks to read the sentences each student. Encourage the learners to find
the new meanings for themselves.
- After reading the sentences, tell the class to listen.
- Play the audio at least twice.
- Focus on the opposite words. Ask students to think of some opposites in their
language.

Assessment
- Play a game of opposite. Divide the class into two groups. They take turns to say a
word and give the opposite.
Eg, cold. slowly, whispered, stupid, kind, beautiful, white, tall, happy, small, big,etc.

learner’s book, Activity book, opposite list

Topic: Singular & Plural nouns


Objectives:
- To understand singular & plural nouns.
Teaching process
- Teacher explains countable nouns can be singular or plural. When we are talking
about one person, animal, place, or thing, we can use a singular countable noun.
- When we are talking about two or more people, animals, places, or things, we need to
put “s”.
- At that time, teacher needs to explain more highlight such as some plural nouns need
to put -es such as the last letters are ch ,sh ,s,ss or x.
- Some plural nouns need to put -ies such as the last letters are y.
- Some plural nouns need to put -es such as the last letters are o.
- Some nouns are always plural also.

Assessment -1
- Teacher will divide two columns such as singular and plural.
- Then, teacher calls each student and he/she to write the correct plural forms on the
board. The students will check the answer whether the answer is right or wrong.
Assessment 2
- Give worksheets to them.
