I. COLLEGE VISION: A Center of Academic Excellence for Sustainable Development and Social Transformation.

II. MISSION: Passi City College is committed to produce globally competent graduates who are well equipped with relevant

COURSE TITLE: NSTP 1 (CWTS 1 – CIVIC WELFARE TRAINING SERVICES)
COURSE UNIT: 3 UNITS
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course set the basic framework for service to the community and the Filipino People as the basis for all NSTP
components courses. It emphasizes the PCC value of honor and excellence in the service of the people, and is consistent with the
principles 2009.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

At the end of the semester, the students should be able to:

KNOWLEDGE:
1. Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical, psychological, and political context;
2. Develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches, and resources for diverse learners;
3. Facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery modes appropriate to specific learners and their
environments; and

SKILLS
1. Apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality, relevant, and sustainable educational practices;
2. Demonstrate mastery of subject matter/discipline; and

VALUES
1. Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local, national, and global realities;
2. Pursue a lifelong learning for personal and professional growth through varied experiential and filed-based opportunities;
3. Appreciate CWTS by advocating the different values, ethics, and characteristics of a Filipino peoples in terms of community services;
