Speaking Test
Which task/job makes you most likely to procrastinate? Is it housework? Schoolwork? Or
is it something else? Why do you procrastinate? Say at least five sentences.
For me, the task that's most likely to induce procrastination is schoolwork or any task that requires intense mental
focus and sustained effort. While housework can sometimes be put off, especially if it's not urgent, the pressure of
deadlines and the mental energy required for academic tasks can make procrastination more tempting.
Procrastination often stems from a combination of factors, including fear of failure, perfectionism, lack of
motivation, and feeling overwhelmed by the scope of the task. Sometimes, it's easier to delay starting a task than
to confront these underlying feelings. Additionally, distractions like social media, entertainment, or even other
seemingly productive tasks can lure me away from the task at hand, further exacerbating procrastination
tendencies. However, I've found that breaking tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks and setting specific
deadlines can help mitigate procrastination and boost productivity.
