Writing Test

Describe wedding traditions in your country. What do people eat, wear, and/or do at a
wedding? Write at least five sentences.

In Vietnam, weddings are vibrant and rich with cultural traditions. The bride typically
wears a stunning ao dai, wedding dress , symbolizing good luck and happiness, while the
groom often wear suit. During the ceremony, families participate in wine pour
ceremony where the couple serves wine to their parents and elders, a gesture of respect
and gratitude.
Food is a central part of Vietnamese weddings, featuring a lavish banquet with dishes
like spring rolls, roasted pig, and various seafood. Guests also enjoy traditional cakes,
such as bánh cưới, which are often intricately designed. Music and dancing are lively,
with performances that may include traditional folk songs or modern tunes, encouraging
everyone to celebrate together. The event usually concludes with the couple thanking
their guests .

Speaking Test
Talk about a holiday that is celebrated in your country. What kind of holiday is it? What
do you do on this holiday? You may want to talk about traditional clothing and food. Say

Tet, or Tet Nguyen Dan is one of the most important holidays in Vietnam.
Tet usually starts at the end of January and ends in early February. Before
Tet , families prepare cleaning their homes, decorating with peach
blossoms in the North and yellow apricot blossoms in the South, some
traditional dishes such as Banh Chung, Gio cha, Banh Tet, Xoi Mut,… During
the holiday, people wear traditional clothing, often new ao dai, which
symbolizes freshness and renewal. Families gather to share meals,
exchange gifts, and participate in various customs, such as visiting relatives
and giving lucky money to children . Beside, they usually go to pagodas or
temples to pray . To conclusion, Tet is an occasion for all people to reunion
