Discuss when to use the present perfect: for experiences, actions without a specific time, and actions continuing
from the past into the present.
Provide a set of sentences in the simple past and have students transform them into the present perfect. Example
Sentences:
Y. Discussing new concepts and
"I visited my grandmother." → "I have visited my grandmother."
practicing new skills #2
"They completed the project." → "They have completed the project."
"She ate lunch." → "She has eaten lunch."
Organize a short pair activity. Each student will ask their partner about experiences using the present perfect form.
