    ADMISSION NOTIFICATION No. 05 of 2023
    For
    PG Diploma course in Bio-Informatics
    On-line Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the one year PG Diploma course
    in Bio-Informatics offered at Bioinformatics Centre (Department of Biotechnology), University of Kashmir for
    the academic session 2023. The candidates are advised to peruse the Prospectus/Admission Policy, available
    on University website thoroughly and check eligibility/other details before submitting their Application Forms.

    I) Important dates:

    Issuance of On-line Application Form 20-04-2023


    Last date for submission of On-line Application Form and
    02-05-2023
    deposition of requisite fee

    II) Eligibility:
    Candidates having passed B Sc in Life Sciences through recognized University/Institute are eligible to
    apply for the said course.

    III) Mode of Selection:


    The selection of a candidate for the admission to the programme shall be strictly based on the academic
    merit of the qualifying examinations.

    IV) Submission of On-Line Application Forms:


    The candidates are advised to follow the below steps for filling their On-Line Application Forms.

    Step-1: Visit http://www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in and click on Link


    Admissions. Read Important Instructions for Registration and Submission of Form carefully
    before proceeding further.

    Step-2: Candidate needs to register him/herself before submitting the Online Application Form. For
    Registration with the System Click on the “Register as Student”. Remember the Username and
    Password for future reference.

    Step-3: After successful Registration, login into the system for submitting On-line Application Form.
    Enter your “Registration No.” and Click “Next”.

    Step-4: Enter the required details and upload your latest passport size Photograph and click “Next”.

    Step-5: If there is any variation click on “Previous” button, make necessary corrections and then Click
    “Submit”. Get a printout of the Form and note the Form No. for future reference.

    Step-6: Deposit the non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 150/- (including IT fee of Rs. 50/-) plus
    Processing/Entrance Test Fee of Rs. 250/- i.e Rs. 400/- through Online mode only.

    V) Submission of downloaded Application Form (Hard copy):
    After submitting the On-Line Application Form, the candidates needn’t to submit the hard copy of
    Application Form but had to retain the hard copy of Application Form with themselves for future
    reference, as and when desired during process of admission.
    VII) Additional information:
    • The candidates must check the status of their Application Forms after five days of online
    submission of Application Form. In case, the status of Application is not updated to “Fee
    Received” or “Fee Reconciliation is Pending”, the candidate should contact the Directorate of
    Admissions, University of Kashmir, alongwith Application Form and all other documents, within
    two days after the last date of submission of Application Forms. Thereafter, no claim, whatsoever,
    will be entertained by the University.
