RE: ADMISSION INTO THE UNIVERSITY IN 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
Following your transfer by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) from
Moi University, I am pleased to offer you a place as a first year student in the School of Education to pursue
a course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Education (ARTS) which commences on Monday 26th
August, 2024.
This offer is subject to satisfactory verification of your qualifications by the University authorities. Any
information found to be false will automatically lead to your disqualification and expulsion from the
University. It is also subject to the following conditions:
(a) Your acceptance to pay the required fees as per the fee structure. The Annual fee is Kshs. 183600
paid in two semesters as captured in the Table below.

(b) Your agreement to adhere to the Rules and Regulations Governing the Conduct and Discipline of
Students of University of Eldoret.
(c) Production of Original Certificates on the day of registration for verification purposes.
(d) Production of NHIF card original & photocopy or if you are under 18 years, your parent's NHIF card
original & photocopy.
Please note that fees is payable at the beginning of every year. No student shall be registered in the
University without paying fees. Students are required to pay fees by Banker’s Cheque OR deposit into the
University account at any branch of our official bank countrywide namely:
Ensure to quote Student Name and Admission Number on the banking slip. The banker’s cheque or banking
slip should be submitted on the reporting day alongside other documents indicated herein. The University
does not accept Personal Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Orders or Cash.
Please note that admission to this University does not automatically guarantee you a place in the halls of
Residence. There are limited rooms in halls of residence which will be allocated based on full payment of
fees. The allocation will be based on first paid first served. If you are not offered a place in the Halls of
Residence, you will be required to make your own private arrangements. In addition, you will also be
required to make arrangements for your subsistence while studying at the University.
If you accept admission under these conditions, you are requested to sign the enclosed form UoEJ1/1A. In
case you are unable to accept this offer, kindly complete form UoEJ1/1B. Form UoEJ1/1A or UoEJ1/1B
together with forms UoEJ1/2 and UoEJ1/3 should be returned to the University on the reporting date. Please
note that this admission letter is an important document that should be kept safely throughout your stay in the
University.
Please be informed that there may be fraudsters purporting to be in a position to help you secure services
from the University on your behalf. Kindly note that the University does not transact any service using
mobile money transfer services such as MPESA.
Kindly note that following your placement in this institution, you are eligible to apply for a government
scholarship, loan and bursary to assist you with your educational expenses. If you require Government
financial support, you MUST make an application for consideration through the official scholarship and loan
application portal www.hef.co.ke. Should the Government scholarship, loan and bursary not be sufficient to
cover the entire cost of your programme, the remaining fee balance will be the responsibility of your
