EQUIPMENTS, AND
PARAPHERNALIA

• Indentify the dufferent tools,
equipment, and paraphernalia.
• Classify tool,equipment, and
paraphernalia base on thier uses.
• Describe the various type of kitchen
tools, equipments and paraphernalia
Tools used in
food
preparation
Measuring Tools- is
used to determine the
exact qualities of
different ingredients
called for the recipe
MEASURING CUPS
For dry ingredients are
nested cups that come
in various sizes of
different volume.
Measuring cups
- for liquids are
standard
measuring cups
designed for liquid
measurements.
Measuring Spoons

are used to measure


smaller quantities of
liquid and dry
ingredients.
MASS SCALE

- is use to measure
the mass of an
ingredient; canbe
operated manually
or digitaly.
INSTANT-READ-THERMOMETER

Is use to measure the temperature of


the food to know if it has been
cooked propely or being stored at the
right temperature
STRAINER Is use to
separate liquid
from solid
ingredients, sift
fine
grains,remove
lumps, and rinse
food.

It is used to drain food such as
pasta.

It is shape somewhat like a

siopao, siomai
and fish.

-Used for
boiler

-used to grate,

mix, whip puree,
and liquify
different kinds of
food.
