10.C.2: Designing and presenting a narrative text on the topic of National Hero of Indonesia by paying
attention to social functions, text structure, and linguistic elements according to the context politely,
critically, creatively, and independently with an optimal level of fluency and accuracy.

1. Learners are able to identify the text structure, language elements, and social functions of short
and simple narrative texts according to the context of their use correctly (C4).
2. Learners are able to critique the text structure, language elements, and social functions of short
and simple narrative texts according to the context of their use correctly (C5).

Introduction 1. The teacher greets students, invites them to pray, and checks 10 minutes
the presence of students.
2. The teacher conditions a pleasant learning atmosphere.
3. The teacher gives a picture and asks students to explain to
stimulate students' knowledge:
a. Do you have a favorite novel/comic/artist?
b. What/who is it/he/she?
c. Why do you like it/him/her?

social function, generic structure, language features of
narrative text. (In form of PowerPoint) (C4)
c. Learners are given questions by the teacher to learners:
Who are the Indonesian national heroes that you know?
d. The teacher explaining to learners to compose narrative
text about their favorite National Heroes of Indonesia.
e. The teacher distributes worksheet 1 about the project of
composing National Heroes of Indonesia narrative text.

f. Learners fill in the worksheet 1 that are distributed.
2. Designing a project plan
a. Learners are directed by the teacher to make a video
presenting the results of their project after completing
worksheet 1.
3. Developing a Schedule
a. The teacher divides the class into 3-5 groups, creating
U-shape seating position each group.
b. Learners are given directions by the teacher to make a
video presenting the results of their project.
c. Learners are given a limit of 3 minutes (for TikTok) or
4-6 minutes (for YouTube) of video duration by the
teacher.
d. Learners are given freedom by the teacher to choose a
place to take the video as long as it is around the
classroom.
e. Learners and teachers determine the time to compile
National Heroes of Indonesia in narrative texts and take
video presentations.
4. Monitoring project activity and progress
a. Students continue to work on the project tasks on
Worksheet 1.
b. Assessment is carried out by the teacher by walking
around the students and checking the progress of the
students' projects.
c. Learners and teachers discuss with each other if there
are learners who experience difficulties in the process.
d. Learners complete the project that is being worked on.
5. Presenting and testing the results of project completion
a. Learners begin to make a video presenting the results of
their project.
b. Learners are supervised by the teacher in making the
video.
c. Learners submit projects and videos to TikTok or
YouTube.
d. Learners are randomly selected to display the results of
the video presentation.
e. Learners who are not selected will collect the results of
the video link on WhatsApp group.
f. Learners display the results of the video that has been
made in front of the class.
6. Evaluating and reflecting on the project process and
results
a. Students are given Worksheet 2.
b. Learners write appreciation, criticism and suggestions in
Worksheet 2. (C5)
c. Learners and teachers give feedback on the results of
other learners' projects directly.

Closing Activites 1. Learners can summarize the content of today's lesson. 10 minutes
2. The teacher provides feedback and reflection on the
learning that has been done.
3. The lesson closes with a prayer.
