A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY NAMING THE STREETS IN BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO YABES (PUG

– OS) SINAIT, ILOCOS SUR


Sponsor: Hon. CHRISTOPHER Y. DEL ROSARIO

WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 empowers the Local government Unit to
enact ordinances and pass resolutions for the general welfare of the province and its inhabitants pursuant
to general welfare clause, and in particular the promotion of accessible roads for the rapid exchange of
products and services;

WHEREAS, Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yabes (Pug – os), Sinait Ilocos Sur has a total land area
320,2281159, with a total population of 1,800 and it composed of seven (7) Puroks namely; Santan,
Waterlily, Sampaguita, Villa Flores, Chico Village and Villa Corazon;
WHEREAS, all streets/roads owned and registered in the name of the barangay has no designated names
yet;
WHEREAS, naming a street in the barangay will avoid the provision of emergency essential services in the
delivery of mail and goods and visitors finding to go; The display of the name of the street helps to easily
identify and locate a property;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, IRWIN M. ANCHETA, Punong Barangay of Barangay Dean Leopoldo Yas (Pug-
os) Sinait, Ilocos Sur, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby name the following unnamed streets
within the barangay:
