In an ever-changing landscape of health, staying informed is vital. The Infectious Diseases Unit,
Department of Medicine, Universiti Malaya (UM) is pleased to announce a workshop on Human
Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI) Updates in 2025. This
workshop aims to equip internal medicine physicians, family physicians, and internal medicine and
family medicine medical officers with the latest knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage
patients with HIV and STIs.

Get the latest information on HIV and STI epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as
the most current guidelines and recommendations for HIV and STI management.
The latest advances in HIV and STI prevention.
Exam-oriented topics will also be delivered to guide medical officers completing their
MMED / MRCP program to ace their HIV/STI-related exam questions.
By staying up-to-date on the latest advances in HIV and STI management, doctors will be better
equipped to provide high-quality care to their patients, and promote healthier communities.
After attending the event, participants will get Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
