    We, the SCS family welcome you to the intercollegiate sports meet-
    SPIRITUS 2023
    I am Sinchana and I’m delighted to welcome you all to this event.
    Today, we are gathered here to witness the compe ve spirit
    reaching greater heights, happy cheers, the joys of winning and the
    pride of having given their best.
    We are honored to have some eminent guests here with us today
    who have graciously agreed to join us today in this occasion. I
    would like to request our coordinators Mr. Nitesh She y and Mr.
    Keshav to escort our dignitaries to the dais.
    Prayer is the spiritual reflec on and connec on of the soul. Prayer
    has the power to upli the souls and create a sense of unity among
    us. So, I would like to call upon Ms. Sushma to lead us into the
    prayer.

    May the almighty bless us.
    We have a rich tradition of अितिथ दे वो भव: Now I would like to call
    upon Ms. Anupriya to welcome our dignitaries.

    Thank you, Anupriya.
    Breaking a coconut as part of an inaugura on or tradi onal
    ceremony is a symbolic and culturally significant act. It's believed to
    bring good luck, blessings, and protec on. So, I would like to
    request our chief guest along with the dignitaries to step down
    from the dais to inaugurate the meet by doing the needful.
    Now I would like to call upon our chief guest, Mr. Shashidhar sir to
    speak a few encouraging words to all our par cipants today.

    Thank you for your enlightening words, sir.
    I would request to handover the memento to our
    esteemed chief guest as a token of apprecia on.
    Now, I would request our President, Dr. Rajneesh Sorake sir to
    address the gathering with the presiden al speech.

    As we’ve come to the end of the formal func on, I would like to call
    upon Mr. Manvith to propose the vote of thanks.

    The purpose of today’s gathering is to not only celebrate sports but
    also to foster the sense of unity among all. Sports have a unique
    way of bringing people together and transcending boundaries.
    Sportsmen gathered here today, remember, its not just about
    winning but giving your best, pushing your limits and cherishing the
    spirit of sportsmanship. Let this event be an opportunity for
    personal growth and everlas ng memories.
